The teams fight with each other for that one place in the top 4, to be named as the Semi-Finalist and when the day comes, not just the teams but the fans are also praying for their team to win, as this is the only time when you will have to prove yourself to be one of the best team.

World Cup 2023

India, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa are the teams to be named as the Semi-Finalists.

India was the first team to secure this position with all the 9 wins (18 points), South Africa qualified with 14 points, Australia also with 14 points and at last New Zealand with 10 points.

India (1st Place) had its match with New Zealand (4th Place) and South Africa’s (2nd place) match was with Australia.

India vs New Zealand

The Rivalry between these nations was from the start as India never won any match in ICC Tournaments against New Zealand but in 2023 they did.

The Semi Final of 2019 was between the same countries where New Zealand beat India by 18 runs and broke the heart of ICT fans, this was the last match of former Indian Team captain MS Dhoni. The runout of Captain Cool and the loss of the team made 1.4 billion people cry.

The 2023 Semi Final wasn’t a normal match for ICT and its fans; It was the revenge match of 2019 and ICT succeeded in taking revenge by making New Zealand lose by 70 runs.

India became the first Finalist of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Australia vs South Africa

The rivalry started in the semi final of 1999, where Australia tied up the match and went into the finals.

The commentary of Bill Lawry on the final ball said, “There it is, this will be out surely – oh it’s out, it’s gonna be run out…oh, that is South Africa out – Donald did not run, I cannot believe it. Australia went into the World Cup Final – ridiculous running with two balls to go. Donald did not go, Klusener came – what a disappointing end for South Africa. What a match for our viewers right around the world.”

This commentary makes us understand the consequences.

The Semi Final of 2023 was also no less than a disappointment for South Africa as they lost by 3 wkts.

Australia became the 2nd team to go in the Finals of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

InterGlobe Enterprises, the parent company of IndiGo, has set the stage for a groundbreaking development in the aviation sector by announcing plans to introduce an all-electric air taxi service in India by 2026. The initiative is propelled by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Archer Aviation, a US-based company specializing in electric aircraft and air taxis.

The proposed InterGlobe-Archer flight aims to ferry passengers from Connaught Place in Delhi to Gurugram in Haryana within approximately 7 minutes. This swift aerial commute would drastically cut down travel time compared to the 60-90 minutes required for the 27-kilometer journey by road.

The collaboration goes beyond air taxi services, with plans to extend the partnership into various operations. According to the companies, they envision diverse applications for electric aircraft in India, encompassing cargo transport, logistics, medical and emergency services, as well as private company and charter services.

Archer Aviation expressed pride in the landmark deal with InterGlobe Enterprises, emphasizing their plans to revolutionize urban air travel in India’s largest and most congested cities. The electric air taxis, represented by Archer’s Midnight aircraft, offer a piloted four-passenger electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) solution, designed for efficient consecutive flights with minimal charging time.

The collaboration also outlines an ambitious goal of acquiring up to 200 Archer Midnight aircraft for deployment in India. The strategic move aligns with global efforts to embrace sustainable aviation solutions and signals a significant leap toward the future of electric air travel in the country.

The Jaipur Wax Museum, nestled within the Nahargarh Fort, is set to pay a fitting tribute to cricket maestro Virat Kohli, commemorating his historic 50th century and India’s resounding semi-final victory. The creative team, led by Founder Director Anoop Srivastava, has decided to craft a life-size wax statue of Kohli, meeting the persistent demands from enthusiastic tourists.

Srivastava expressed his excitement, emphasizing that there couldn’t be a more opportune moment to immortalize Kohli’s achievements, considering his stellar performance and India’s recent World Cup triumph. The wax statue, depicting Kohli’s aggressive on-field persona, will stand alongside the statue of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, symbolizing the passing of the baton from one cricket icon to another.

What adds an intriguing twist to this tribute is the recreation of the Wankhede Stadium set within the museum, where Kohli notched his historic 50th century. The meticulous craftsmanship of sculptors Ganesh and Lakshminarayan, under the creative direction of Srivastava, ensures the authenticity of the wax figures. Renowned Bollywood designer Bodh Singh is entrusted with designing the costumes.

The wax museum, recognized for featuring inspirational figures, already boasts statues of cricket icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni and philosopher Swami Vivekananda. With a total of 43 wax statues, including a Royal Darbar adorned with gold work carvings and the unique Sheeshmahal embellished with over fifty lakh glass pieces and tikris, the museum continues to captivate visitors with its harmonious blend of history and art.

As the wax figure of Virat Kohli takes its place among these illustrious personalities, the Jaipur Wax Museum reinforces its commitment to showcasing figures that inspire and leave a lasting impact on generations to come.

As Madhya Pradesh gears up for another round of Assembly elections, the influence of wealth on politics takes center stage. According to a recent report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), a staggering 80 percent of Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in Madhya Pradesh are crorepatis, and more than half of them hail from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

As the political landscape unfolds, the battle for supremacy intensifies between the incumbent BJP, rallying behind Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and the opposition Congress, led by the prominent figure of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Amidst this political fervor, let’s delve into how the richest candidates fared in the last Assembly elections held in 2018.

At the forefront is Sanjay Satyendra Pathak from the BJP, representing Vijayraghavgarh. With a staggering net worth exceeding Rs 226 crore, Pathak emerged victorious in 2018, securing a comfortable margin of 13,738 votes against Congress’s Padma Shukla.

Following closely is Chetanya Kasyap, another BJP stalwart, holding the Ratlam City constituency. Boasting a considerable net worth of Rs 204 crore, Kasyap clinched a hattrick win for the saffron party in 2018, defeating Congress’s Premlata Dave by a significant margin of 43,435 votes.

Representing the Congress camp, Sanjay Shukla from Indore-1 shines as the wealthiest candidate. With a substantial net asset value of Rs 139 crore, Shukla secured victory in the 2018 polls, overcoming BJP’s Sudarshan Gupta with a margin of 8,136 votes.

As the 2023 elections loom, political analysts predict a favorable position for the BJP. However, Congress remains resilient, eager to make a comeback following the collapse of the Kamal Nath-led government in 2020. The intersection of wealth and politics in Madhya Pradesh continues to shape the dynamics of the upcoming electoral battle, where financial prowess and political influence go hand in hand.
