The plot of “Catching Dust” unfolds in the vast isolation of Texas’ Big Bend, where a lone trailer on an abandoned commune becomes the reluctant refuge for Geena and her criminal husband, Clyde. As Geena, exhausted by Clyde’s control, decides to leave, the narrative takes an unexpected turn when a couple from New York arrives in another trailer. Ignoring the potential risks, Geena convinces Clyde to let them stay, setting the stage for dangerous consequences that engulf them all. The film resonates with the audience by exploring themes of finding solace in the face of apparent hopelessness and despair.

The much-awaited India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2023 kicked off on November 19 at Delhi’s iconic Pragati Maidan, promising an extravaganza of commerce, culture, and connectivity. ETS India, ALLEN Global’ MoU to Nurture Future Global Leaders

In a vibrant celebration of Gopashtami, the Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre, often referred to as the ‘Chhoti Kashi,’ echoed with devotion and festivity. Gopashtami, a significant day for Lord Shri Krishna devotees during the holy month of Kartik, holds special virtue for those who worship cows. The sprawling cow shelter witnessed a grand celebration on Monday, marking this auspicious occasion.

The cows at Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre were not only adorned with colourful decorations but also received heartfelt worship from devotees. In-charge of the centre, Raghupati Das, expressed that the festival was a time to honor the sacred bond between Lord Shri Krishna and his beloved cows.

Devotees and residents of the city flocked to the Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Center to partake in the festivities and offer their prayers to the divine creatures. The cowherds, who tirelessly serve the cowshed throughout the year, were recognized and honored for their selfless dedication.

In accordance with the spiritual significance of Gopashtami, the cowherds were presented with shoes and other essentials by the Gaushala management to prepare for the approaching winter. The celebration continued with the distribution of prasad, offering a moment of communal joy and gratitude.

Adding a unique touch to the festivities, some city residents chose to celebrate their children’s birthdays amidst the gentle presence of the cows at the rehabilitation center. This gesture not only highlighted the spiritual connection between individuals and cows but also contributed to the overall jubilant atmosphere.

To complement the celebratory spirit, special stalls showcasing cow-made products were set up. Sahara Group Founder Subrata Roy’s last rites performed by grandsons

Lucknow bid a somber farewell to Sahara Group founder Subrata Roy as his last rites were performed by his grandsons, Himanc Roy and Kushaan Roy, at the Baikunth Dham cremation ground. The poignant ceremony took place on Thursday, drawing a crowd of friends, well-wishers, and political figures to pay their respects.

Subrata Roy, who passed away in Mumbai on Tuesday night after battling a prolonged illness, saw a significant absence at his funeral — his two sons. According to sources close to the family, business engagements kept them away from the final farewell to their father.

Sixteen-year-old Himanc Roy, the son of Subrata Roy’s younger son Seemanto Roy, and five-year-old Kushaan Roy, the son of the Sahara chief’s elder son Sushanto Roy, took on the responsibility of jointly performing the last rites, creating a poignant generational connection.

The Baikunth Dham cremation ground witnessed the gathering of prominent figures, including Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary, senior Congress leader Pramod Tewari, former U.P. Congress president and actor Raj Babbar, senior BJP leader Ammar Rizvi, and film producer Boney Kapoor.

Scores of Sahara employees and the public accompanied Subrata Roy’s body as it made its way from Sahara Shahar to the cremation ground around 4 pm. The late Sahara founder’s body had been brought to Lucknow by a chartered plane on Wednesday evening. His wife, Swapna Roy, arrived in the state capital on Wednesday, accompanied by grandsons Himanc and Kushaan, along with other family members.

Prominent political figures present at the ceremony included SP state president Naresh Uttam Patel, former ministers Arvind Singh Gope and Abhishek Mishra, SP MLC Rajesh Yadav, former MLA Anugrah Narayan Singh alias Khokha Singh, former MLC Siraj Mehdi, Rashtriya Lok Dal national spokesperson Anil Dubey, Maulana Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mahali, former MP Naresh Agrawal, excise minister Nitin Agrawal, Nira Radia, and Sonu Nigam, all of whom paid their respects to Roy.

In addition to political figures, a diverse array of personalities from various fields paid homage to the late Sahara chief. Former Indian hockey captain Dhanraj Pillay, Juhi Babbar, Lucknow mayor Sushma Kharkwal, City Montessori School founder Jagdish Gandhi, actor Gul Panag, and pianist Brian Silas joined the grieving community in offering their condolences.
