History of Dumping Yard:

The picturesque place that has become a popular tourist destination of Rajasthan is not just a nature’s creation but a human made art. It started when the locals of Kishangarh started facing problems regarding the accumulated waste.
Then in 2005, RICCO and Kishangarh marble association decided to put the marble garbage in one place and developed a disposing area for marble slurry.
50-60 feet deep wells were dug to pour the waste but later the garbage was collected so much that it took a form of plateau looking like white hills and mountains covered with white snow.

The yard is covered in around 332 bigha land and required a long time to get completed divided in three parts, the second part was completed by Cluster Project in 2009 and totally completed in year 2015 with a total cost of around Rs 2-50 crore.
