Night markets in Jaipur, which were about to get started from this weekend on 27th and 28th August, in Chaura Rasta has now been cancelled as local traders had a few issues which could not be resolved.
The traders said Chaura Rasta was not the right place to chose for night market. They did not open shops in the morning and closed the market and sat on a dharna in the market.
And the local residents of that area accompanied them as they had a problem too. As night market will be opened till 1:00 late in the night, the local residents will be disturbed by it. And the local residents thought the administration is playing with their lives, and has no concern.
Watching the situation, police administration informed the higher authorities about the problem, and local MLA Amin Kagji and heritage municipal cooperation commissioner Vishram Meena reached the spot. After the assurance of cooperation commissioner the traders issues were considered and the shops were opened.
The MLA assured that the night market will be shifted elsewhere, where it is convenient for everyone. Heritage administration is now considering shifting the night bazaar location at Albert hall. Officials said that a proposal will be sent to the state government regarding this to seek the permission.

Ganguly continued his brilliant batting and completed the century. Robin Singh, who came to support him, also added 82 runs, but as soon as he was dismissed, there was a flurry of wickets. During this he wanted to hit a big shot and Pakistani players also dropped his catches. Srinath took a run off the fourth ball. Now 3 runs were needed from two balls to win. Pushkar, the temple city, is well known for its pilgrimage sites and its annual fare. But let me share you my experience of what’s not in your itinerary!
While exploring and making my way through narrow streets of Pushkar, I found a beautiful place called La Pizzeria which is a great stop to treat your starving stomach, and for capturing some aesthetics.
The location is very close to the main attractions of the city, i.e. Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple so you don’t have to change your itinerary as well for visiting this place.
The place has heavily planted courtyard dining room covered with beautiful jharokha structures and also has a pleasing indoor dining.
It is a home turn restaurant located in mid residential area but yet is too famous for its authentic Italian food serving best thin crust wood fire pizzas and tempting pastas, with their mouthwatering homemade sauce. It also serves delectable Israeli cuisine.
The top view of the restaurant…
My personal recommendations for the food is definitely you should try a pizza:-
Indiana pizza
Margarita pizza
Special la farm pizza
You can customize your pizza as well!
In beverages, you can try their most famous, lemon nada, which is so refreshing.
In deserts you can try most recommended bonaffe pie.
The food is quite toothsome that you’ll end up over eating.
Let your taste buds satiate with the yummy pizzas served here…
The quantity of the food is so wholesome and the pricing is worth the quality that is served. But you’ll find this place a little expensive than the rest of the food places in Pushkar, but it’s worth paying. You can ask the person who’s taking your order if you are in dilemma for what to order. The staff is courteous and greets well, a great place to experience hospitality.
Lovely jharokhas will lure you right from outside.
It opens up at 11am, and if you’re planning to go on weekends make sure you make your reservations as it’s overcrowded on these days. Also do not take your vehicles here, as there is no parking space, reach this place out by walking through the pushkar lanes and by exploring pushkar markets.
A Punjab farmer Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi finds help in technology as his dream house was located on the way of the Delhi Amritsar Katra Expressway. In general, such houses are demolished, however, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi, instead of getting it razed down, worked on an idea and brought in wheels to shift it.. Read this story by Aakanksha…
The Government of India is building an expressway to make life easier for the people traveling from Delhi to Amritsar. The expressway will further help people to visit Jammu and Kashmir from Punjab. However, the government noticed that Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi’s two-story building was on the expressway in Roshanwla Village in Sangrur.
The Punjab government considered the execution and decided to amend it by paying Sukhwinder Singh the compensation for demolishing the house and creating a route for the expressway.
Thus, Sukhwinder Singh rejected the proposal as the house was very dear to him.
Even after the offer of compensation, the farmer could not think of making another house, as it took a large amount for Sukhwinder Singh to bring his dream house to life. He later decided that to protect his house, he had to move it, which is in the process now.
Sukhwinder’s house being shifted on wheel…
The work of moving Sukhwinder Singh’s house is under the private constructional workers. The idea was generated to protect the house from damage or demolition and make the path for Delhi Amritsar.
Consequently, technology was the only way the farmer leaned for help which did not disappoint the farmer at all.
The house is on wheels with the help of technology and strategic constructional work. It is also a very proclaimed effort as on social media, people wish well hearing this news and many sending kudos to Sukhwinder Singh.
Sukhwinder Singh stated that the house was moved by 250 feet already. And the procedure of moving house is still in operation.
Thus, we can see that if you really want to preserve something you admire, God opens many gates. However, in Sukhwinder Singh’s case, he found the way on wheels to save his dream house.
The Brihadishvara Temple (originally known as Peruvudaiyar Kovil) located in Thanjavur Tamil Nadu is dedicated to the god Shiva located in South bank of Cauvery river. The temple is constructed in a Hindu Dravidian Style and is one of the largest Hindu temples. Let’s know about its rarest of the rare features…
1. The Brihadeeswara Mandir has been one of the greatest structures ever built using the interlock method where no cement, plaster or adhesive was used between the stones. It has survived 1000 years and 6 earthquakes.
2. The Mandir tower at 216 feet was likely the tallest in the world at the time.
3. The other structures built using this method such as Big Ben and Leaning Tower of Pisa have been tilting with time. However, the Mandir which is far older has zero degree inclination.
4. 130,000 tons of granite was used to build the Mandir which was transported by 3000 elephants from different parts of state.
5. The Mandir was constructed without digging the earth. There was no foundation dug for the Mandir!! Which means it was built on the plain land. The stone placed at the top of the temple tower is known as Kumbam
5. This Temple Has Been Declared A UNESCO World Heritage Site as it has been the best example of excellent workmanship and grandeur.
6. The crucial and influential emperor Raja Raja Cholan built the Brihadeeswarar Temple as a dedication to Lord Shiva. The rocks necessary for building this Grand Structure has come from various neighboring States.
Spain’s Parliament recently signed off on a controversial energy savings plan put forward by the left-wing minority government, by 187-161.
The government did struggle to muster support for the “urgent measures” necessary in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ensuing energy crisis. Let’s read these rules as per new guidelines:
* As per the plan, Spain is to lower its consumption of gas by 7-8 per cent, while most EU countries will be called on to save 15 per cent.
* Since August 10, all public areas such as shopping malls, cinemas, offices, stores, hotels, train stations, and airports are prohibited from cooling their rooms to below 27 degrees.
* Business where employees have to do manual labour, including bars and restaurants, are allowed to cool down to 25 degrees.
* Along with numerous other measures, the lighting of offices, shops, and several monuments across the country must be turned off from 10 p.m., provided the space is no longer being used.
* Other measures included in the plan were a monthly payment of 100 euros for students, and reduced prices for season tickets on local, medium-distance and high-speed trains.
* Passes for local trains will be free, while for medium and long-distance trains they will be half-price.
This is the story of two astrophotographers who did shoot ‘ridiculously detailed’ picture of Moon.
In fact, they clicked Moon’s picture 2 lakh times to get a detailed image.
These enthusiasts include Andrew McCarthy and planetary scientist Connor Matherne. It took them around two years to produce “the most ridiculously detailed picture” of the satellite.
All they used was a camera, a tripod, and a star tracker. The image is special as the kind of temperament and the dedication they showed to put together an awe-inspiring piece of photography did matter.
Around 2 lakh images they clicked were then stacked together to see the detailed picture we see now.
McCarthy shot over two lakh pictures from Arizona, while Matherne shot 500 from Louisiana.
McCarthy concentrated on details, while the latter focused on the color data.
Can you ever think that there can be the chances of getting attacked by a shark on land? Stunned? But then it is true that chances of attack by shark on land are never zero!
Scientists have managed to capture sharks walking on land on tape and here is the video.
Basically, Epaulettes are 3 ft long, which can be found swimming (even walking, apparently) around the Great Barrier Reef. These sharks come out as they experience short periods of elevated CO2, low O2 levels (hypoxia) & fluctuating temperatures as reef flats become isolated from the outgoing tide. watch video
‘Kumbhalgarh Tiger Reserve Project yet to see light of day due to state govt ignorance’
‘Kumbhalgarh Tiger Reserve Project is yet to see light of day due to state govt ignorance.
Going with the continuous daly in the implementation of the project, the member of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) and MP Rajsamand, Diya Kumari on Tuesday has written a letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot to send the recommendation of the State Government to make Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary a tiger reserve at the earliest..
In her letter, she urged Gehlot to take action for sending the recommendation of the State Government to covert Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary into a tiger reserve at the earliest.
Despite having sent a letter prior to this, the State Government has been continuously delaying the recommendation, she alleged in her letter.
MP Diya Kumari informed that on 10 November 2021, the NTCA had sent the Feasibility Assessment Report to the State Government for appropriate action so that the process of declaring Kumbhalgarh and Todgarh Wildlife sanctuaries as tiger reserves could be undertaken.
The State Government has to take advance action on the report and send it to the Ministry of Wildlife and Environment along with its recommendation. However, so far, no action has been taken on the matter by the Rajasthan Government.
The MP further said that the tiger reserve will give a boost to local employment, tourism, and biological diversity, as well as to fulfil demand of the residents of the region. Keeping this in mind, the proposal to declare Kumbhalgarh Raoli-Todgarh region as a tiger reserve should be acted upon urgently.
