The newly opened Sylvan Biodiversity Forest is situated on Agra Road in Jaipur, spanning approximately 113 hectares of land.

This location provides amenities including a complete track, a watchtower, and ponds. In terms of forestry efforts, they have planted 10,000 big trees, 10,000 shrubs, 3,000 vines, and 20,000 medicinal plants. Additionally, a 0.5-hectare grassy area has been established.

The Sylvan Biodiversity Forest developed by Jaipur on 113 hectares of land along Agra Road will be inaugurated for the public on Independence Day. This initiative aims to enhance the city’s green cover.

JDA Commissioner Joga Ram mentioned that the park will provide pure air, contributing to the purification of the surrounding environment. He added that in alignment with CM Ashok Gehlot’s budget announcement and under the guidance of UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal, the JDA collaborated with the forest department to develop the 113-hectare forest on Sumel Road, located approximately 5 km from Ghat ki Guni on Agra Road.

Conservator of Forests Sudeep Kaur mentioned that development works, including the construction of a walking track, have been undertaken in the forest, inspired by the design principles of Central Park.

JDA allocated Rs 3.63 crore for forestry efforts and Rs 3.97 crore for civil works. The forestry work involved the cultivation of 10,000 big trees, 10,000 shrubs, 3,000 vines, and 20,000 medicinal plants, along with establishing a 0.5-hectare grassy area.

After a prolonged wait of Indians, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir is finally drawing to a close. The long-anticipated moment is set to unfold in just one week. On January 22, 2024, the gates will swing open welcoming the devoted followers of Shree Ram and the country will joyously celebrate the inception of a new festival, a heartfelt welcome for Shree Ram to his home, Ayodhya.

The celebration has begun with the temple trust sending invitations to 7,000 individuals, including prominent figures such as cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, M.S. Dhoni, and Virat Kohli and  Anushka Sharma , as well as actors Amitabh Bachchan, and notable personalities like Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani. These invitations mark the commencement of a joyous occasion at the Ram Mandir, ready to embrace devotees who have patiently awaited this golden moment for decades.

Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, is set to grace the event as the chief guest during the Pran Prathista ceremony of Lord Ram. According to astrologers, the Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi holds significant importance in the Vikram Samvat of 2080, as per the Hindu calendar, accurately determining the time and date of the pran prathistha of Lord Ram. The auspicious timings are predicted to be between 12:20 pm to 1 pm.

As, the inauguration is coming close the events has planned on different dates which is called as pre- pran prathistha ceremony which started from January 16 and will go ahead till 21 January. 

The list of event is given below:

January 16 : The day will commence with the observance of the ‘Prayaschita’ and ‘Karmakuti Pooja.’ Following these rites, the ‘Dashvidh’ bath will be conducted on the banks of the Surya River by the priest appointed by the temple trust. This inaugural ritual signifies purity and invokes the blessings of gods Vishnu and Godan.

 January 17: The ‘Parisar Pravesh’ ceremony of the idol Raam Lalla is scheduled, marking its entry into Ayodhya. Devotees will gather in front of the temple gate, welcoming their cherished idol by carrying a ‘Mangal Kalesh,’ a pot filled with holy Surya water.

January 18:  A series of rituals including ‘Teerth Poojan,’ ‘Jal Yatra,’ and ‘Gandhadhivas’ will be performed. The sculpture of Raam Lalla will be placed on its designated seat in the ‘Garbh Griha,’ symbolizing a sacred presence.

January 19: The day will witness the ‘Dhanyadivas’ ritual, during which the sculpture will be covered with grains and pulses for purification. Subsequently, the ‘Agni Sthapna’ and ‘Navgarha Sthapana’ will be conducted.

January 20: Devotees will be restricted from seeing or worshiping Raam Lalla on this day. The doors will open post-inauguration, and the ‘Garbh Griha’ will be purified with the holy waters of the Surya River. The priests will perform the ‘Sharkaradhivas’ and ‘Phaladhivas’ rituals.

January 21: The deity will undergo a ceremonial washing with 125 urns, and the ‘Shayadhivas’ ritual will be conducted on this day.

Pran Prathistha Ceremony:

 It is a sacred ritual in Hinduism known as “Pran Prathistha,” where “pran” signifies life, and “prathistha” refers to establishing life into the sculpture of the deity being worshipped. This ancient ceremony has been practiced by temple priests for millennia, preceding the inauguration ceremony. It serves as a transformative process, turning a mere idol into a living representation of the divine.

On January 22, 2024, this significant ceremony will be performed to infuse the Ram Lalla Murti with the essence of a divine god. The ritual involves unveiling the idol’s eyes and placing a mirror in front, symbolizing the embodiment of divine life. The Pran Prathistha ceremony will be conducted during the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat, following the Vikram Samvat 2080 calendar, with the participation of 121 acharyas. Among them, 7 will be Adhivaasa, and currently, 3 Adhivaasa are actively involved in the practice.

Furthermore, it’s noteworthy that two out of three Acharyas have declined the invitation for the inauguration. Their rationale is grounded in the belief that the construction is not yet complete, and according to their principles, it is inappropriate to inaugurate the temple before its entirety is finished.

Officials in the hospitality sector are optimistic about the potential for job creation, with roles ranging from hospitality managers and hotel staff to logistics managers and drivers. The ripple effect of this anticipated tourism boom is extending beyond Ayodhya, reaching neighboring cities such as Lucknow, Kanpur, and Gorakhpur.

Yeshab Giri, Chief Commercial Officer at Randstad India, envisions Ayodhya transforming into a global tourism hub, anticipating a daily footfall of 3-4 lakh visitors. The staffing industry, represented by Randstad and TeamLease, estimates the creation of 20,000-25,000 permanent and temporary jobs, with a projection for continuous growth in the coming years.

The immediate demand is already evident, with an increased need for accommodation and travel services, resulting in a significant upswing in Ayodhya’s hospitality sector. In-demand roles include hotel staff, housekeeping, front-desk management, chefs, and multi-lingual tour guides.

Balasubramanian A, Vice President at TeamLease, reports that in the last six months alone, 10,000 to 20,000 positions have been created, covering various roles related to hospitality, travel, and tourism.

Despite the positive outlook, industry insiders acknowledge the temporary nature of many of these jobs, contingent upon the sustained demand and the actual number of devotees visiting the temple. The industry typically operates on a ratio of 1-2 staff for every 100 customers, indicating a potential for more job opportunities in the future.

The fast-tracked nature of permissions for Ayodhya’s infrastructure development is expected to expedite the demand for manpower, with estimates suggesting a surge in temple traffic to reach between 300,000 to 700,000 people in the first week post-inauguration.

However, challenges lie ahead, particularly in the supply of accommodations. Currently, Ayodhya has only two major branded hotels—Park Inn by Radisson and Cygnet. Industry leaders like Patu Keswani, Chairman and Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels, express a cautious approach, with many companies adopting a wait-and-watch strategy to assess the evolving demand-supply dynamics.

Rajeev Kale, President and Country Head at Thomas Cook (India), highlights the exponential boost in temple tourism, witnessing a jump of over 1000% in searches compared to last year. The excitement over the Ram Temple inauguration has not only impacted Ayodhya but also nearby destinations like Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Allahabad.

To alleviate infrastructure constraints in Ayodhya, Thomas Cook is offering a range of accommodation options, from hotels to tent stays, including overnight stay options in nearby cities like Lucknow and Prayagraj.

As Ayodhya braces for an influx of devotees and tourists, the economic resurgence brought by the Ram Temple inauguration is not only a spiritual milestone but a driving force for job creation and economic growth in the region. According to the Hindu Calendar, Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born on the Saptami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in 1723 Samvat during the month of Pausha.

History

Takht Shri Harimandar Ji Patna Sahib stands at the present site of Guru Gobind Singh’s birth. His family returned to Punjab in 1670, and later, in March 1672, settled in Chak Nanaki amid the Shivalik Hills of the Himalayas, now called Anandpur Sahib. It was in Chak Nanaki that he received his education, delving into military arts, Sanskrit, and Persian, preparing him to become a skilled warrior.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji later established the Khalsa Panth, a community that followed strict spiritual discipline under his guidance. Members courageously fought against the Mughal emperors. Guru Gobind Singh, a brilliant poet and writer, crafted a diverse range of literary works. Prior to his passing in 1708, he declared the Guru Granth Sahib as the permanent Sikh Guru, now revered as a sacred text for Sikhs.

Significance

Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born in Patna, Bihar, on December 22, 1666, according to the outdated Julian calendar. The demise of his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, came at the hands of Aurangzeb. Mata Gujri was Guru Gobind Singh’s mother. Aurangzeb executed Guru Tegh Bahadur in 1675 for resisting conversion to Islam. At the tender age of nine, Gobind Singh was declared the tenth Guru of the Sikhs on Baisakhi in 1676.
