Additionally, it claimed the top spot in the “Best Foods and Drinks in India” category, underscoring its significant role in Indian cuisine and culture. Mexico’s Aguas Frescas ranks on the top in the list of non-alcoholic drink.

It is prepared by blending sweetened black tea with milk and spicing it up with a mix of spices, typically including cardamom, ground ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and black peppercorns.

At that time, as the post explained, the Chinese had a monopoly on the tea trade, leading the British to explore other markets to meet the high demand for black tea, which was a popular choice among Europeans.
