There are 4 Shaktipeeth temples of Goddesses in Bangladesh. Siddha temples of Goddess are also there in Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh has the largest number of four Shaktipeeths outside India.

There are 4 Shaktipeeth temples of Goddesses in Bangladesh. Siddha temples of Goddess are also there in Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh has the largest number of four Shaktipeeths outside India. Similarly there is the world famous Hinglaj temple in Pakistan which is located in the cave on Hingol river and Chandrakup mountain. 

It is believed that Mata Sati’s head was cut off in the Hinglaj Shaktipeeth. Apart from this, there are four Shaktipeeths in Bangladesh – Sugandha Devi Shaktipeeth (Shikarpur), Chattal Bhavani Shaktipeeth (Chittagang), Yashoreshwari Shaktipeeth (Ishwaripur), and Kartoyaghat Shaktipeeth (Bhawanipur).

Apart from this, there are two Shaktipeeths in Nepal – Muktidham Temple (Pokhara) and Guhyeshwari Shakti Peeth (Kathmandu). At the same time, there is one Shaktipeeth each in Sri Lanka and Tibet – Indrakshi Shaktipeeth, (Trikonamali, Sri Lanka) and Manas Shaktipeeth (Tibet).
