The cricket legends are together again to entertain us.
Who doesn’t love to watch those legends again playing on the field? So here it is, they are playing once again and the time of the year is here. Yes, you read it right the cricket legends our favourite players will be playing once again on the field.
What is Legends League Cricket?
Legends League Cricket is a pair of Twenty20 cricket leagues featuring retired cricket players. Legends League Cricket Masters has been played in Oman and Qatar and the franchise Legends League Cricket T20 league has been played in India.
Season 1
The first season of the franchise tournament was held from 17 September to 5 October 2022, and featured four privately owned teams. India Capitals emerged victorious, beating Bhilwara Kings by 104 runs in the final at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Season 2 (2023)
The second season of the tournament is being held between 18 November and 9 December 2023. Two new teams joined the league.
All the six teams are:
- Bhilwara Kings will be lead by Irfan Pathan
- Gujarat Giants will be lead by Parthiv Patel
- India Capitals will be lead by Gautam Gambhir
- Manipal Tigers will be lead by Harbhajan Singh
- Southern Superstars will be lead by Aaron Finch
- Urbanisers Hyderabad will be lead by Suresh Raina
Legends League Cricket second edition will unfold across different venues in Ranchi, Dehradun, and Jammu.
The league stage will end on 4 December, and the final match will take place on 9 December.

The schedule comprises 15 league matches followed by 2 qualifiers, 1 eliminator and a final.
