Ram Navami Festival was celebrated with great pomp at Shri Krishna Balram Mandir, Jagatpura on Sunday. As it is known that Ramnavami is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, a special Ram Tarak Yagya was organized for the salvation of mankind in the temple.
The program started with sankirtana at 4:30 pm, Lord Shri Krishna-Balram were decorated with bows and arrows in the form of Rama and Lakshmana.
Devotees observed fast throughout the day and performed Hari Naam Sankirtana. Special hymns were also sung in remembrance of the pastimes of Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Ramchandra ji and in praise of Lord Ramchandra.
Amitasan Das Ji, President of Shri Krishna Balram Mandir, Jaipur, said that “Ram Tarak Yagya is performed especially on the day of Shri Ram Navami. During Ram Tarak Yagya, recitation of 108 holy names of Lord Rama (Shri Ram Ashtottara) and a special video based on the life of Lord Shri Ram was shown in the temple, after that Maha Aarti was performed and the palanquin of Lord Shri Ram Lakshman was taken out, all this program was shown live on the social media channels of the temple and finally in the temple Prasadi was distributed to all devotees who came.
On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the Cultural Education Department of Hare Krishna Movement Jaipur released the poster of Summer Culture Camp 2022, in which children will be taught moral lessons based on Bhagavad Gita, Quiz, Mantra Meditation, Shloka Pronunciation, Vadhya Yantra, Kirtan, Painting, Vedic Cooking, Art and Craft, Theater etc. will be taught with fun and games. At the end on the day of prize distribution ceremony, all the children will give their presentations and prizes will be distributed
