‘COVID-19 can be cured with naturopathy, says this naturopath after curing many patients’

0

COVID-19 can be cured with naturopathy, says a humble naturopath Pukhraj Vohra, a retired banker who left his plush job to take a deeper dive in naturopathy and questions the government why the patients are not being given steam treatments in hospitals even at a time when it is medically proven that steam are benefitting COVID patients.

Vohra has cured more than 200 patients in his naturopathy centre situated in Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh) while using natural resources and saying strict No to allopathy usage.

No matter if your oxygen score has touched new lows, he takes you to his centre to nurture you with nature while using steam of ‘ginger, ajwain, Dal Chini, ‘chirata’, ‘kutki’, carom seeds, lemon juice other such herbs’ which are put into a pressure cooker which is attached in the bathrooms.

Before being given a steam, you are asked to rub black soil on your body to ensure toxins come out from pores. He also offers you tasty Aawla juice, guava juice and lemon ginger tea to boost your immunity.

Vohra has gathered knowledge in naturopathy over the last three decades to help the people and is operating a three-storeyed naturopathy centre, running up and down, listening to patients’ plights, bringing them out of depression and giving them Reiky treatment too.

“We are hugging our patients with warmth to treat them. Wearing masks and following social distancing doesn’t fall in our system of naturopathy however, we strongly believe in  boosting immunity so that the body can itself kill the coronavirus,” he says.

Vohra says that the high dose medicines are affecting the people’s vital organs and hence steam sessions should be made mandatory in COVID hospitals.

Vohra has cured one Ankit whose oxygen level came to 80s and high fever had left his parents tensed. However, ‘Rai’ and mud use helped him boost his oxygen level and his fever also vanished in next few days.

Similar are the stories of other patients who are going there to get themselves cured.

Hospitals can’t be trusted these days, but this man is gently treating all, with all modesty, honesty and transparency. India needs more such clinics, says another patient.

COVID times: They married amid pandemic making it a ‘knotty’ affair

0

COVID times are posing challenges for the brides and grooms. Here is a story of a family who waited for over a year for pandemic to go, travelled between US and Jaipur to solemnise the much-waited wedding and finally were successful after the couple tied the knot…!

Manoj Sharma and Shashi Sharma, parents, have been living in the United States for decades. Nandita, the lone daughter, was born there. So was her lone brother, Bhanu. Both working well,  she in California and he in Arizona.

They decided to celebrate her wedding in Jaipur, home city. Undertook a survey where what to perform.  A luxury hotel on Delhi Road was booked and advance given for the date fixed for the celebration. They went back.

Came the pandemic. The date was not to be honored so hotel booking had to be cancelled. But the hotel refused to refund couple of millions they had deposited! A traditional wedding in India was under clouds, financial too. They were forced to hold the event in California.  However, a crowd of Indian tradition was not permitted there too. The ceremony hanged in indecision for more than a year.

Manoj excelled with Johnson & Johnson. He was leader of its team that evolved one-touch diabetes instrument, in use all over and rendering good service. Shashi worked along with.

Their moorings for India are strong.  So despite the prevailing conditions, they visited India and did shopping (April 21) in Jaipur for possible event to be staged in USA. So the auspicious ceremony was performed on  22 April 2021.

It had to be a small gathering as per prevailing conditions. Yet the bride (Nandita) and her Brazilian husband (Adriano) attired in their choicest best. The parents worked hard to assemble traditional wears in Jaipur and got checked designs, colours etc through cellphone to facilitate the daughter.

Both were full of smiles as they got wed-locked at a San Francesco club in forenoon. Memorable photo shoots followed. More courtesies continued later at a dinner in evening. Having waited for long, all due to the current virus, they feel having reached now on top of the world.

He is in mood to further study and secured admission at Yale University. She would move to that place to work and stay with him. How did they meet at first and continued dating couple of years?  To solve the mystery, our correspondent would need to speak to each one of them as visiting Yale for an interview this difficult period is ruled out. The photo received from them is being reproduced here: couple with parents. Bon marriage.

Northern Lights’ dramatic display fills in excitement during Aurora watching

0

The northern lights are one amongst the several astronomical phenomena called polar lights (aurora polaris), which are shafts or curtains of colored light visible on occasion in the night sky.

The northern lights, or aurora borealis, offer an entrancing, dramatic, magical display that fascinates all who see it — but just what causes this dazzling natural phenomenon?

They are natural phenomena and are ideally the best to be observed in Alaska and northern Canada. Norway, Sweden and Finland also offer excellent vantage points.

 Colours of Aurora

The colours most often associated with the aurora borealis are pink, green, yellow, blue, violet, and occasionally orange and white.

Typically, when the particles collide with oxygen, yellow and green are produced. Interactions with nitrogen produce red, violet, and occasionally blue colors.

Collisions bring difference to colours

The type of collision also makes a difference to the colors that appear in the sky: atomic nitrogen causes blue displays, while molecular nitrogen results in purple. The colors are also affected by altitude. During periods of particularly active solar flares, the lights can be seen as far south as the top of Scotland and even northern England. On rare occasions, the lights are seen farther south. They were first observed by European settlers in New England in 1791.

Best months to view the aurora borealis

September, October, March and April are some of the best months to view the aurora borealis. The lights are known to be brighter and more active for up to two days after sunspot activity is at its highest.

Several agencies, such as NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, also monitor solar activity and issue aurora alerts when they are expected to put on a particularly impressive show.

These Canadians share their experience

EBNW.net received details of aurora borealis having been observed by three Canadians living in Edmonton, on 24-25 April 2021. Rohit Jindal, Mamta Vardhan and Kartik rushed to the Elk Island National Park as they learnt that this most romantic scene would be observed the best from there. Elk Island National Park has played an important part in the conservation of the Plains Bison. It is 35 km east of Edmonton.

“Too many cars there and their lights were on. Total darkness was somewhat at loss. It was full moonlit night. We waited and waited. And suddenly emerged flash lights. Our eyes could not capture the total blaze. The cellphones did it all right. We were very fortunate to have observed this most extra ordinary phenomenon of Nature. Worth spending a night for it as we returned home in small hours of morning. Tea-snacks were good company on this nocturnal exploration. We had been waiting for it for years. Wow.
