On Wednesday, Draupadi Murmu inaugurates the largest High court in India

On the vivid inauguration of India’s largest High Court, situated in Ranchi, Jharkhand, President Draupadi Murmu, inaugurated the building. The building was built at the cost of Rs 550 crore. Thus, the 165 acre wide compound consists of 25 air-conditioned courtrooms and two halls separately made for the lawyers.

The courtroom has the capability of holding 1.200 advocates. Additionally, it has 540 chambers.

Many dignitaries were present in the inaugural ceremony including Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud, Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, Chief Minister Hemant Soren
