PM Modi 72nd Birthday: Cheetahs brought from Namibia released into Kuno National Park in MP

On the 72nd birthday of PM Narendra Modi, eight cheetahs brought from Namibia were released into Kuno National Park in MP.

Meanwhile, leaders from across party lines and heads of countries extended greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is celebrating his 72nd birthday on September 17, 2022. Among those who wished him include Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Droupadi Murmu and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Meanwhile, two helicopters carrying eight cheetahs reached Palpur near Kuno National Park.

Modi released cheetahs flown in from Namibia into a special enclosure at the Kuno National Park (KNP) in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. He also clicked some pictures of the cheetahs on a professional camera after releasing them. Eight cheetahs were brought to Gwalior from Namibia in a special plane on Saturday morning as part of the cheetah reintroduction programme. The animals were later flown to the KNP, located in Sheopur district, in two Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopters.
