PM Modi Inaugurates World’s Largest Meditation Centre, Swarved Mahamandir, in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Swarved Mahamandir, the world’s largest meditation center, located in Varanasi’s Umaraha area. The grand temple, featuring a magnificent seven-floor structure with 125-petal lotus domes, can accommodate a staggering 20,000 people for meditation, making it one of the largest spiritual edifices globally.

Designed with meticulous detail, the Swarved Mahamandir covers an expansive area of 3,00,000 square feet and is adorned with teakwood ceilings, doors displaying intricate carvings, and 101 fountains. The temple’s architecture incorporates pink sandstone walls, and a lush garden with medicinal herbs enhances its grandeur.

The foundation of this spiritual marvel was laid in 2004 by Sadguru Acharya Swantantra Dev and Sant Pravar Vigyan Dev, involving the collaborative efforts of 600 workers and 15 engineers. The Swarved Mahamandir aims to propagate the teachings of the Swarveda, a spiritual text authored by Sadguru Shri Sadafal Deoji Maharaj, the eternal yogi, and founder of Vihangam Yoga.

Prime Minister Modi, during the inauguration, participated in the centenary celebration of Vihangam Yoga and expressed pride in the country’s heritage, declaring freedom from a slave mentality. The Swarved Mahamandir stands as a beacon of spiritual enlightenment, illuminating humankind with its magnificent spiritual aura and promoting a state of peaceful alertness worldwide.
