Rishi Kapoor’s 69th birth anniversary falls on September 4 and a day before it, his wife Neetu Kapoor as well as daughter Riddhima Kapoor share a special post remembering him on special day.

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020 at 67 of age. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. Following this, he and Neetu Kapoor spent around a year in New York for his treatment. Rishi Kapoor returned to India in September 2019. He was last seen in the film The Body.
Due to the nationwide lockdown imposed by the government to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic, Riddhima Kapoor couldn’t attend her father’s funeral. However, a day later, she travelled by road to Mumbai with her daughter to be with her family.
