BTS to feature in next Coldplay’s single ‘My Universe’ on September 24 this year.
The much anticipated collaboration has been officially announced on 13th September, 2021. The two biggest boybands are coming together this time and will drop their song ‘My Universe’ on 24th September, 2021. Riya Shahi writes…
BTS debut in 2013
BTS, the South Korean boyband, which debuted back in 2013 with their sing No More Dream. The group consists of 7 member which includes 4 singers; Jin, V, Jimin and Jungkook and 3 rappers; RM , Suga and J-hope.

They are currently the biggest artist and band all over the globe. Breaking and creating enormous records, these grammy nominated artists always have their fans on head over heels for them and why not their hard works and dedication has broken all the language barriers and has created history. Since 2016 they have been collaborating with many famous foreign artists. But this time they are participating with their own favourite group Coldplay.
BTS & Coldplay
Coldplay are a British rock band formed in London in 1996.The band comprises vocalist, rhythm guitarist and pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion, and creative director Phil Harvey. They have been so loved all over the world for their contribution in music industry.
My universe is the second single to be taken from Coldplay’s coming album ‘Music of the Spheres’ which wilk release on October 15. This track is written by both the boybands mutually and is sung in English and korean. Chris Martin (Coldplay memeber) on working with BTS he said: “We really don’t believe in boundaries or separation of anything really, and so the song my universe is about someone being told they can’t love a certain other person, or can’t be with this race, or they can’t be gay- whatever it might be”
Both the bands are considered as legends in music industry and fans are celebrating this announcement with so much enthusiasm and happiness. Since the announcement they are trending all over the twitter, fans are referring it as an legendary collab which will be written down in history and how can we deny this fact when two excellent bands will meet to make music it will create history.
The track is available to pre-order and pre-save with a CD single on coldplay and BTS stores. For every CD, cassette and vinyl purchased on coldplay store, the band will plant and sustain one three with their partners at one tree plant.
