Muskan, student of Saksham Sanchar Foundation shared her experience about the trip to City Palac.

Trip to City Palace Jaipur : The royal residence and former administrative headquarters of rulers of Jaipur.

It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh 2 , as he moved his court to Jaipur from Amber in 1727.

Unveiling the Majestic city palace , Jaipur : A royal experience by me .

As we stepped  there , we were welcomed by the staff. I felt that I had entered a bygone era of royalty and grandeur. Later we had photos there and started our visit , as after 3 years the city palace will become 300 years old, but the architecture of palace is awesome the designs and that every small thing was mind blowing really the staff do very hard work to maintain it.

The intricate architecture , stunning courtyards , and the ornate decorations left me awestruck.

So first, we visited the Mubarak mahal and later saw the old trophies and cups which were won by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh 2 , who was a polo player and he led the Indian polo team which won the world gold cup championship at Deauville, France. Carrying on , we saw old chess and ludo . Then we saw the clothes of some kings and queens . The queens used to wear Poshaks with Gota Patti work and other hand work which are worn by Rajputana ladies now and we  also saw some sarees. Carrying on we saw the famous 100 gram Razai of Jaipur. Then some old carpets, on which the work was done beautifully. Then we visited the Art gallery , which showcased Rajasthani and Mughal art .It was fabulous,  then we tested so many perfumes which were amazing. Carrying on we visited Sileh Kahana , a fascinating part of the palace which has an impressive collection of arms and weapons. There is a work with 22 carat gold and natural colours on the ceiling of Sileh khana , which is very attractive. Then we visited Diwan-I-Khas , which is a private hall with intricate marble work.
