Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that July 4 will be a “very special day” for the people of Jodhpur as the New Terminal Building of Jodhpur Airport is set to be inaugurated.
Highlighting Jodhpur’s significance on India’s tourism map, the Prime Minister said the upgraded airport infrastructure would make the city more accessible to visitors from across the country and abroad.
“Tomorrow, 4th July, is a very special day for the people of Jodhpur. The New Terminal Building of Jodhpur Airport will be inaugurated. Jodhpur has a very important place as far as tourism in India is concerned. This upgraded infrastructure will encourage more tourists to come to Jodhpur. It will boost commerce as well,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the new terminal would strengthen connectivity, promote tourism, and provide fresh impetus to trade and economic activities in the region. The inauguration is expected to enhance passenger convenience while supporting Jodhpur’s growing role as a major tourism and business destination in Rajasthan.
