Shardiya Navratri 2022: Shardiya Navratri is starting from 26 September. During Navratri, devotees worship nine forms of Maa Durga with rituals for nine days. On the first day of Navratri, a Kalash is kept in homes. In temples, tableaux of various forms of Jagran and Maa Durga are decorated.
It is believed that by doing special worship of Mata Rani for nine days of Navratri, all wishes of the devotees are fulfilled. Each day of Navratri is dedicated to one form of the Goddess. Here comes the main dates of Durga Puja.

First day of Navratri: 26 September 2022 – Pratipada (Maa Shailputri)
Second day of Navratri: 27 September 2022– Dwitiya (Maa Brahmacharini)
Third day of Navratri: 28 September 2022 – Tritiya (Maa Chandraghanta)
Fourth day of Navratri: 29 September 2022 – Chaturthi (Maa Kushmanda)
Fifth day of Navratri: 30 September 2022 – Panchami (Maa Skandmata)
Sixth day of Navratri: 01 October 2022 – Shashthi (Maa Katyayani)
Seventh day of Navratri: 02 October 2022 – Saptami (Maa Kalratri)
Eighth day of Navratri: 03 October 2022 – Ashtami (Maa Mahagauri)
Ninth day of Navratri: 04 October 2022 – Navami (Maa Siddhidatri)
Durga immersion day: 05 October 2022 – Dashami (Immersion of Maa Durga idol)
Worship method of Maa Durga
On the first day of Navratri, get up early in the morning before sunrise and after bathing and meditating, take the resolution of fasting for Navratri. Establish the Kalash according to the auspicious time. After this, worship Goddess Durga. Durga Saptashati should be recited every day during Navratri. After this, on the day of Ashtami or Navami, do special worship of ‘kanyas’ (girl child) and break your fast.
