From Christmas on The Beach to Christmas In The Market

Christmas celebrations around the globe, where some places celebrate Christmas on the beach, and some have Christmas markets.

Christmas celebrations around the globe, where some places celebrate Christmas on the beach, and some have Christmas markets.

A widely celebrated festival awaited by the whole world, Christmas is filled with lights and stories. Celebrating Christmas comes with plenty of traditions, where the most traditional and old tradition is decorating the Christmas tree and the whole house with lights and sending gifts to our loved ones.

However, people worldwide have found this day to celebrate in a unique and different manner. Thus, the festival finds its essence in every other city and land.

Britain celebrates Christmas by hanging the stocking by the bedpost.

Many children around the world will wake up to a surprise from Santa. However, children in Britain hang their stockings at the ends of their beds, so there is no such problem in worrying about Santa finding their stockings. And they get a delightful surprise when they wake up.

It becomes an essential part of the children’s life while celebrating Christmas.

Austria not only celebrates Christmas but hunts Naughty kids with Krampus.

What’s worse, a lump of coal in your stocking as a present or A Krampus on a hunt for you? In Austria, where St. Nicolas gives presents to the children who have been kind and sound all the year, A Krampus, the half-man, the half-goat, goes on the hunt for the rude, bad kids and keeps them in line. Many people in Austria are seen dressed as scary characters who scare children in a light way to keep them in line on the street.

Germany celebrates Christmas with an outdoor market.

Everyone at Christmas wants to enjoy a cup of hot chocolates while watching the lights outside. However, one can enjoy hot chocolate while visiting the market outside Germany. All around the nation, large holiday markets are featured where people can buy presents for everyone on their list from the artisans and craftsmen themselves.

Australia Celebrates Christmas on the beach.

As Australia, due to geographical reasons, celebrates Christmas in the melting summer, there is no snowman on their Christmas shenanigans. Instead, there is Santa on the beach taking a sun bath. In Australia, families are seen on the beach singing “white Christmas” with barbeque, channeling the spirit of Christmas in summer.
