Bharat Diwali Mela brings Indians together in Munich to celebrate festive essence with zeal and fervour

The vibrant spirit of Deepawali resonated across Munich city in Germany as the Bharat Diwali Mela, a groundbreaking festival, brought together the Indian community together under one roof like never before.

Organised by the ‘Delhi in Munich group’, this momentous event was graced by the presence of Shatrughna Sinha, the Consul General of India in Munich, along with Anshika Singh from the Munich Migration Council.

Sanjeev Sharma, a key member of the organising committee alongside Shobhit Sarin and Ravi Rakheja, shared his excitement about the event.

During the event, Sunil Singh was also present, sharing valuable insights and ideas that became the backbone of the event’s successful execution.

As attendees entered the venue, they were greeted by the delicious aromas of traditional Indian dishes. Local residents also joined in the festivities, experiencing the flavors and vibrant culture of India. Over 1,400 people attended the event, which served as a powerful reminder of the strength and unity of the Indian community in Munich.

The Bharat Diwali Mela was made possible by generous sponsors including Ergo Finance, Hausvalley.com, indoeuropean.eu One Munich Fahrschule, One Munich Sisa Bar, D4Dance, Indian Tours, and Swadesh. Special thanks were also extended to food and beverage partners Taj Mahal, Dessi Tadka, and Tattva for providing authentic flavors that enhanced the festive atmosphere.
