Holiday hotspot Egypt is the latest entrant to the list of popular destinations around the world to have signed up to the world’s first ever global safety and hygiene stamp, launched recently by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) amid the global pandemic COVID-19.

The growing list includes countries like Aruba, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Vienna, among many others.

WTTC, which represents the global Travel & Tourism private sector, has designed the special Safe Travels stamp to enable travellers to identify destinations and businesses around the world which adopted its health and hygiene global standardised protocols – so consumers and holidaymakers can experience ‘Safe Travels’.

The United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has also embraced the WTTC Safe Travels stamp, which have the safety and hygiene of travellers as its top priority.

According to Gloria Guevara, WTTC President & CEO, “We are delighted to see major countries and destinations such as Egypt and Slovenia joining the growing list of global destinations adopting our private sector protocols.

“This not only shows the success of the WTTC Safe Travel stamp, but also demonstrates its importance to travellers and those who work in the sector.

“The stamp is critical to re-establish consumer confidence in Travel & Tourism and ensure travellers can rest assured that enhanced standards of hygiene are in place.

“As WTTC health and hygiene protocols, affecting hotels, restaurants, airports, cruise lines, tour operators, outdoor shopping, and transportation are implemented, so the list of destinations recognising the new stamp continues to grow.

Since the launch of the WTTC Safe Travels stamp, destination countries, cities and hotspots around the world such as Turkey, Bulgaria, Mauritius, Panama, Portugal, and the Mexican State of Jalisco, have now adopted WTTC’s new protocols.

Who says what!

Dr Khaled El-Enany, Egypt Minister of Tourism and Antiquities:

“We are looking forward to welcoming guests to Egypt’s resorts in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Coast.”

Iván Eskildsen, Panama Minister of Tourism:

As the hub of the Americas, restoring confidence for travellers and tourists, will be a key factor for the reactivation of our industry and our economy.”

Ivan Liptuga, President, National Tourism Organization of Ukraine:

Msc. Maja Pak, Director General of the Slovenian Tourist Board:

“The Slovenian Tourist Board is proud that Slovenia is one of the first countries in the world with recognised Safe Travels Protocols approved by the World Travel & Tourism Council.”

How to find Health-Work-Life Balance Amid Pandemic?’

This is the burning question being asked by one and all amid present times as the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world hard and people are reeling under lockdown since last many months
The world-renowned motivational speaker Shiv Khera shares tips to get Health-Work-Life Balance Amid Pandemic in a webinar which marked the initiation of a wellness movement in India called ‘Pehla Sukh- India Wellness Initiative’.
Here are three takeaways from his session:

1. Set your priorities right: One needs to set their priorities right. Each person, before the lockdown, was running fast with their unset priorities. However, lockdown, all of a sudden, stopped them and they can now be seen setting their priorities.
2. Avoiding messing up in life: The kind of time saving devices we are using today were never with us any time in history, however, despite this, we did not have time for ourselves. This is because we have messed up our priorities. At times, we forget what is important and what is non-important. Further, if we ignore what is important, it develops stress. So we need to avoid any kind of messing up and be clear in our thoughts.

3. Try coming out stronger: One needs to be emotionally stronger during lockdown and a person can become emotionally strong overnight. He needs to practice it via meditation and if he committed to himself, he shall definitely be emotional stronger.
