Falguni Nayar and her story of Nykaa…

0
Falguni Nayar, managing director and CEO of Nykaa

Falguni Nayar’s Nykaa is one of the leading brands in cosmetics today.

If you had to quit your job and start a new business, would you? Well, most of us would pass that situation by and lead our lives as employees. Because running a business takes a lot more than the mind, it also takes courage and devotion to your empire, which most people deny or run from. Certainly, Falguni Nayar is different in this criterion, as she was willing to offer much more to build her business and find her way with Nykaa after quitting her job.

After earning her degree from IIM Ahmedabad, Nayar spent over twenty years working for the Kotak Mahindra Group. She concentrated on KMG’s international activities in the UK and the US while working there as a merchant and venture investor. She also oversaw the corporate stock branch in this location. She also became in charge of saving the business a ton of money by the time she was hired as managing director in 2005.

Thus, to explore her brand, Nayar made the decision to switch jobs in April 2012 and added “Nykaa’s CEO” to her resume later. Despite her dreams, it was thought strange that she wanted to change the direction of her career. Falguni Nayar, though, has been monitoring the expansion of India’s online retail sector to explore Nykaa. Later, she decided to focus on the beauty industry since she liked makeup and recognized its potential for the internet retail market.

Thus, watching over the retail sectors and making plans was not enough, as Falguni had the Nykaa dream for a while but could only expand the company when she had free time. Nevertheless, after her twin daughters Anchit and Adwaita departed for college abroad, she got the chance to begin spending more time with Nykaa. She later resigned from her job at Kotak and took the risk of launching Nykaa because she set a $50 deadline to start this business.

Falguni Nayar was ultimately inspired by her love of makeup and the realization that the Indian beauty and wellness industry requires an internet beauty and wellness platform. Thus, the app closes this gap and changes how Indian women purchase through Nykaa. She has overseen the curation of over 850 companies and 35,000 goods on Nykaa.

Therefore, today Nykaa is the first choice of many women across the nation. Thus, it is possible due to the hard work and devotion Falguni Nayar put into her brand. We can all learn from her that achieving your dreams has nothing to do with your age.

Akash Ambani announces that Jio is prepared for the implementation of 5G soon.

Leading telecom provider Reliance Jio said that it has purchased bandwidth in the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, 3300 MHz, and 26 GHz bands for Rs 88,078 crore over a 20-year term in auctions that were hosted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

Therefore, a pan-India 5G rollout would be done in honor of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.” Jio offers customers premium, cost-effective 5G and 5G-enabled services. Akash Ambani also emphasized that they would offer services, platforms, and solutions that would help quicken India’s transition to the digital age, particularly in key industries like e-governance, manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture.

Nevertheless, Jio claims that its 5G network will enable the next generation of digital products. It will even accelerate India’s AI-driven march into a $5+ trillion market.
