A private, nonprofit organization called the France India Foundation (FIF) was founded to encourage fruitful communication between young leaders from France and India. Both the French and the Ministry of External Affairs fund the foundation, which was established by the France Asia Foundation.

The France India Foundation aspires to host topical conferences, knowledge papers, media-based collaborations, and discussions between art and science in addition to the Young Leaders Program. These initiatives seek to improve mutual understanding and collaboration between France and India by facilitating and enhancing discussion between the two countries on a variety of themes.

The Young Leaders Program is FIF’s signature initiative. This initiative seeks to discover and develop up-and-coming young leaders in a variety of spheres, such as business, politics, athletics, and the arts. There were 25 young leaders from India and France in the program’s initial batch.

Young leaders have the opportunity to participate in meaningful conversation, gain insight from one another’s experiences and viewpoints, and forge long-lasting connections through the Young Leaders Program, which was held in Bangalore and New Delhi. The initiative intends to make a lasting impression on Indo-French relations in the future.

What is Asthma?

Asthma is a respiratory condition involving narrowing of air tubes of the lungs resulting in difficulty in breathing and is often accompanied by increased secretion.
According to the recent statistics, 339 million people in the world are affected by Asthma(2023) and this number is increasing by 50% every decade.

Types of asthma:

Asthma can be basically categorised into two types namely intrinsic and extrinsic.
The intrinsic type is perennial , and emergency cases commonly occur. It can be caused due to any sort of viral infection or side effect of a drug or any other stimulus.
The extrinsic type of asthma is episodic, seen more in children, does not appear always and has less probability of emergency cases. It is caused basically due to external factors such as dust or pollens.
Asthma attack is an emergency condition and if not treated properly, the patient can probably die. Nearly 4.61 lakh people all over the world die of asthma each year.

Trigger factors of asthma:

There are various factors that can trigger Asthma or an asthmatic attack which includes smoking, pollution, dust, dust mites, pollen, allergies, infections of mainly upper respiratory tract, drugs, heavy exercise involving shortness of breath, exposure to cold air, psychogenic causes, etc.

Symptoms of asthma:

The three major characteristic features of asthma include
coughing;
dyspnea : breathing difficulty;
and wheezing : high pitched whistle sound made by breathing.

Treatment of asthma

There there is no definite treatment or one treatment for asthma. It depends upon patient to patient. Apart from lifestyle changes and protecting from trigger factors, the treatment involves the medicines that help in dilatation or widening of air tubes which were previously narrow and were causing difficulty in breathing. Bronchodilators are type of drugs that prove to be efficient in providing relief to the patient. Glucocorticoids in the inhaler form are also considered as a very potent form of treatment.

Prevention of asthma:

There are three prevention steps for asthma. The first one being: avoid the triggers such as certain chemicals, smells and exposure to stimulus; the second one includes keeping away from allergens and taking the allergy shots time to time to protect the triggers; and lastly the third step includes taking preventive medicines prescribed by your doctor.

Asthma is a common respiratory disease affecting a huge population in the world, caused by a few trigger factors, it can also be genetic and is not completely recoverable but patient’s life can be improved through lifestyle changes and medicines. One of the most loved television series India’s best dancers again. A chance for prospective artists to display their talents is provided by India’s Best Dancer. Shivam Wankhede, hailed from Maharashtra, attracted fans with his eccentric nature, which was on display in his Bollywood-style dance performance to the song Ke Pag Ghunghroo Bandh Meera. Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur gave Hansvi from Uttar Pradesh a standing ovation after she sang a stunning kathak performance of the song Oh Ho Ho Ho. Later, Anjali Mamgai from Uttarakhand defied expectations on stage with her kind demeanor and potent rendition of the song Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar. Terence praised her for her “chummeshwari” performance, which won over the judges.

Furthermore, Samarpan Lama from Maharashtra won the contest and was instantly chosen to join the Behtareen Teerah. Vipul Khandpal from Delhi created a lovely ambiance full of tenderness and high on emotions while dancing to the musical tune Piya Re Piya Re. Shivanshu Soni from Madhya Pradesh demonstrated his dancing prowess by dazzling the judges with a stunning blend of kathak and freestyle dance on the song Judaai in the big audition round.

All of the audience members were moved by Ram Bisht’s contemporary performance. Thus, the judges were awestruck by Apeeksha Londhe’s flawless dance abilities as well as her kind spirit. Apeeksha, a native of Maharashtra, wowed everyone with her passionate modern performance on Teri Meri Prem Kahani.

On stage, Madhya Pradesh native Akshay Pal electrified the audience with his flawless popping technique to the song Ek Pal Ka Jeena.
