‘Nobel for Trump’: Israeli Farmers Plough Message Ahead of Peace Prize Announcement

Hours before the Nobel Peace Prize announcement, Israeli farmers expressed their support for former US President Donald Trump in an unusual way — by ploughing the message “Nobel 4 Trump” across a vast field using tractors.

A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) shows tractors carefully etching the massive message into the earth, ending with an aerial shot revealing the full text. The post’s caption reads, “A group of Yom Kippur War veterans plowed a message of gratitude to President Trump in the valley fields.”

The display of support comes soon after Trump brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas as part of his Gaza Peace Plan, unveiled on September 29, aimed at halting hostilities and rebuilding the war-torn region.

Under the plan, both sides agreed to:

  • A ceasefire and Israeli troop withdrawal,
  • A hostage-prisoner exchange,
  • Hamas disarmament, and
  • Governance of Gaza by independent Palestinian leaders under international supervision.

A multinational peacekeeping and reconstruction force is expected to oversee humanitarian aid and rebuilding efforts. Israel and Hamas accepted the first phase of the plan on October 8, and the agreement was formally signed in Egypt on October 9.

Trump’s Record of “Eight Peace Deals”

At a Cabinet meeting following the announcement, Trump hailed the development as part of what he called an unmatched record of peace-making.

“We settled seven wars, or major conflicts, and this is number eight,” he told reporters. “The one I thought would be the quickest of all — Russia-Ukraine — I think that’s going to happen too.”

Earlier, during his UN General Assembly speech on September 23, Trump claimed his administration had ended seven “unendable wars” within seven months of taking office, citing conflicts involving Cambodia and Thailand, Serbia, the Congo and Rwanda, Pakistan and India, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, and Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“I Deserve the Nobel,” Says Trump

Trump has long maintained that his efforts, including the Abraham Accords and recent peace negotiations, make him deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize. His nomination has been endorsed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Congressman Buddy Carter.

As the Nobel Committee prepares to reveal this year’s laureate, Trump’s supporters — from political allies to farmers in Israel — appear united in one message: they believe he’s already earned it.
