A SpaceX spacecraft that carried four astronauts returned to Earth on Friday. Thus, they wrapped up their almost six-month journey to the space station with a water landing in the Atlantic off Florida.
Thus, their return was postponed due to Florida’s windy and rainy conditions. However, the three Americans and one Italian finally received the all-clear from SpaceX and NASA on Friday. Later, they left the International Space Station, where they had resided since April. Thus, five hours later, the capsule was recovered after parachuting into Jacksonville, Florida.
Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency, NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines, and Jessica Watkins, who is the first black woman to finish a long-duration space mission, were also on board. Last week, SpaceX sent their replacements.
Mainly, the astronauts expressed their excitement at having a cool drink with ice while enjoying little perks. As they disembarked from SpaceX’s rescue ship and returned to the ground. NASA intended to quickly transport them to Houston.
