The themes of the Y20 summit, the logo, and the website will be unveiled in New Delhi during the curtain-raiser event for the Y20 Summit India, according to Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur
The term “G20” (Group of 20) refers to the conference for the biggest and most developed economies in the world, which has an official youth engagement group called the Y20. During the Y20 Summit launch, the second part of the event will feature panel discussions with young achievers. It will center on how India can use its youth population to become a powerhouse and talk about the panelists’ individual success stories. Thus, it will be the first time that India hosts the Y20 summit.
According to AIR, India is contributing significantly to the worldwide search for practical answers to achieve holistic well-being that embodies the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Thus, it will deliver the culture of India to other nations.
Therefore, the Y20 summit is being held in India for the first time. India’s main goal in the Youth 20 Engagement Group is to gather young leaders from across the world to explore concepts for a brighter future and create an action plan. A communiqué, that is a collection of policy proposals, is issued to global leaders as part of the formal G20 meeting and is made public at the Y20 Summit.
The focus of Y20’s initiatives during India’s presidency would be on international young leadership and collaboration, which will be revolutionary. Thus, pre-summits on the five Y20 topics will be held over the next eight months, along with numerous talks and seminars at various universities around the nation, as it will lead up to the final Youth-20 Summit.
