Thus, this infrastructure includes digital identity systems, digital payment systems, and data centers, among others. It can potentially benefit the public sector by increasing the efficiency and transparency of government services, while also benefiting the private sector by creating opportunities for innovation, job creation, and economic growth.
Sitharaman also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the public and private sector in developing digital public infrastructure.She mentioned that the government and private sector need to work together to overcome the challenges involved in building this infrastructure, such as ensuring the protection of user data and privacy.
