As envisioned by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Mahakumbh 2025 represents not only a significant religious gathering but also a testament to India’s profound historical and spiritual roots. The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is preparing an elaborate presentation to position Mahakumbh as a symbol of the state’s diverse heritage, attracting global attention to its grandeur and inviting the world to witness this iconic event.
Thematic Grand Pavilions to Showcase Brand UP
The fairs will feature state-of-the-art 40-square-meter pavilions dedicated to Mahakumbh 2025 and Uttar Pradesh’s broader tourism attractions. The FITUR event in Madrid, scheduled from January 24 to 28, 2025, will be the first stop, followed by the ITB Berlin Fair from March 4 to 6, 2025.
These pavilions will immerse visitors in Uttar Pradesh’s rich cultural and spiritual traditions, presenting the state as the Land of Buddha and Sanatan Faith. The exhibits will also highlight its historical monuments, festivals, and other tourism offerings.
VVIP Lounges and Multilingual Outreach
To foster meaningful global engagement, exclusive VVIP lounges will be set up at both fairs to host B2B and B2C interactions. Promotional materials in multiple languages, including English and key European languages, will be distributed to ensure maximum accessibility for international audiences.
Driving Investment and Showcasing ODOP Products
Apart from promoting tourism, the Uttar Pradesh delegation will engage with stakeholders from the global tourism industry, including tour operators and investors. Discussions will focus on leveraging the state’s tourism-friendly policies to attract foreign investment.
Additionally, the fairs will feature exhibits of Uttar Pradesh’s traditional handicrafts and products under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, further enhancing the state’s global branding.
This comprehensive campaign aims to establish Uttar Pradesh as an unmissable destination on the world tourism map, blending spiritual tourism with economic opportunities. By inviting the global community to participate in Mahakumbh 2025, the state aspires to create a lasting impression of India’s cultural magnificence.
