As per reported by TechCrunch the new in-app purchases are listed as “Instagram Subscriptions” for $0.99 and $4.99. The subscriptions purchases will be prices between $0.99 (roughly Rs. 73) and $4.99 (roughly Rs. 360) in the US. Whereas, it is live in App Store India as well, with a price plan of Rs. 89 per month.

According to screenshots shared by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, purchasing a subscription will include a ‘member badge’ which gifts subscribers a “special badge” next to their username, and “Exclusive content.” This badges will appear as an interactions between the creator and the subscriber or maybe will prioritize those interactions.

Other than that there are also rumors and reports that suggest Instagram will allow creators to customize their subscription names and pricing.That clearly means that the price plan that has been made is just temporary and can be changes anytime.
