In a celebration where devotion was truly at its sweetest, Gupt Vrindavan Dham marked the auspicious occasion of Parama Ekadashi with a spectacular offering of 2,108 kilograms of mangoes, transforming the divine court of Sri Sri Krishna-Balaram into a breathtaking display of faith, colour and abundance.

The grand Bangla Jhanki, crafted entirely with the season’s king of fruits, became the centrepiece of the festivities, drawing hundreds of devotees who thronged the temple from the early hours of the morning to seek the Lord’s blessings. The vibrant arrangement of 2,108 kg of mangoes created a visual feast that left visitors spellbound and deepened the festive spirit of the sacred occasion.

While the mango-laden court captured attention, it was the soul-stirring Harinam Sankirtan led by child devotee Bhagwat that captured hearts. His energetic chanting filled the temple premises with spiritual fervour as devotees, young and old, joined in singing and dancing to the holy names of the Lord. The atmosphere resonated with joy, devotion and collective celebration.

Throughout the day, devotees also participated in continuous Harinam Jap, taking a pledge to chant 64 rounds of the mala as part of Gupt Vrindavan Dham’s ambitious mission to complete one billion chants of the Holy Name. The initiative has inspired devotees to dedicate themselves to deeper spiritual practice through collective prayer and remembrance.

The Ekadashi celebrations coincided with the ongoing month-long Purushottam Maas Katha, being organised with the support of Shri Omprakash Modi, founder of the Krishna Bhavana Kendra. The discourse series, attracting devotees from across the region, will conclude with a special ceremony on June 15.

Highlighting the significance of the day, Amitasana Das, President of Gupt Vrindavan Dham, said that Parama Ekadashi during Purushottam Maas is regarded as especially auspicious for devotional practices. Spiritual efforts undertaken on this sacred day, he noted, are believed to yield manifold blessings and spiritual advancement.

As chants echoed through the temple and devotees gathered beneath the golden glow of thousands of mangoes, the celebration offered a powerful reminder that faith, when expressed with love and devotion, can turn even the simplest fruit into an extraordinary offering of the heart.
