Anurag Singh Thakur, the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports introduced Fit India’s Healthy Hindustan Talk Series on Sunday with a special session on millet
Today, one of the most vital topics to discuss is health. Health should be the priority for the people. Thus, the union minister for youth affairs and sports launched a series of Fit India’s Healthy Hindustan Talk Series which will encourage people to be more health and fitness conscious.
The Minister engaged in a special discussion with the Fit India Healthy Hindustan Icons during the event. In the event, he covered topics such as senior citizen demands, a healthy food plan, fitness, and the significance of millet in everyday life.
Beginning on January 22 and running through March 12, 2023, the series will include renowned fitness gurus and Fit India Icons as guests, and they will share some health Mantras. It will stream every Sunday at 11 am on Fit India’s official YouTube and Instagram accounts.
The year 2023 has been designated as the “International Year of Millets” by the United Nations General Assembly (IYOM). Thus, with backing from more than 70 countries across the world, the Government of India’s campaign resulted in the adoption of a United Nations Resolution. The Indian government is working to create IYOM 2023 a people’s movement and to promote Indian millets, recipes, and value-added goods internationally.
After the pandemic, it is important to always keep immunity in check. Fit India Healthy Hindustan strives to raise awareness and important topics of the value of the physical activity, a healthy diet, and mental well-being across all age groups, especially senior citizens, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambition to build a fit and healthy country.
