Artists from Jaipur have also been invited to the 3-day pre-wedding events of Anant Ambani, the younger son of Asia’s richest industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Garima Saini, a young blue pottery artist who is the identity of Jaipur, has been invited to participate in the wedding ceremony with live demonstration and artefacts.
Apart from this, craft guru Babulal Marothia of Jaipur has been invited to present miniature art among the guests coming from all over the world. Pre-wedding functions will be held in Jamnagar for three days and these two artists from Jaipur will be present here with their artworks.
Businessman Bill Gates, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Ivanka Trump, daughter of former US President Donald Trump, will also attend these functions.
Nita Ambani giving platform to Indian artists
Jaipur’s blue pottery artist Garima Saini said that Nita Mukesh Ambani has been encouraging Indian artists by providing them a platform for the last several years. Disciples of miniature artists are present all over the world
Jaipur’s miniature artist Babulal Marothia also got a platform with his artworks at the wedding. He is an accomplished artist of Rajasthan. Various painting styles of Rajasthan like Jaipur, Kota, Kishangarh along with other Indian painting styles like Kandaga, Basoli, Malwa are famous for making miniature paintings. For his excellent artworks, he has been honoured with the Shilp Guru Award by the Government of India on many national and international platforms. Marothia has so far trained about 20 thousand people through Sanskriti Kala Kendra.
Got a place in Neeta Mukesh Ambani’s cultural centre
Jaipur’s Blue Pottery has also got a place at the inauguration of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center in Mumbai. Garima said that along with my father Shilp Guru Gopal Saini, I got a platform here with blue pottery artefacts. Our art was then greatly appreciated by celebrities from across the country and the world. Stars from Hollywood also made blue pottery art a part of their collection.
Actress Zendaya, who won everyone’s hearts by playing the role of Spider-Man’s girlfriend in Hollywood actor Tom Holland’s film, also came to India to attend its inauguration. She was impressed by the blue pottery art displayed at the Cultural Centre. After knowing the history and art style of blue pottery, he bought a 23-inch blue pottery pot. Events will be held in Jamnagar for three days
