AnanTaya is presenting UNSTITCHED, a unique dhoti draping workshop led by architect and cultural revivalist Gaurav Shorey. This hands-on session will explore up to 10 distinctive dhoti styles from across India, showcasing the garment’s regional diversity, functionality, and timeless appeal.

Dedicated to the revival of the dhoti as a vital element of India’s cultural heritage, the workshop invites men to reconnect with this elegant and unstitched traditional attire. Through UNSTITCHED, AnanTaya continues its mission to preserve and promote India’s craft traditions and mindful rituals.

Participants will not only learn various ways to wear the dhoti but also gain insights into its historic, social, and symbolic significance. Styled with jewellery from Tribe by Amrapali, the workshop also highlights the dhoti’s enduring relevance as a symbol of discipline, grace, and cultural continuity.

Open to both first-timers and seasoned enthusiasts, the session offers a blend of practical skills and cultural storytelling, celebrating the dhoti as a living tradition in modern India.
