On October 25 the first airplane themed restaurant opened for public in Vadodara, Gujarat. The restaurant is called ‘HighFly’ and is located on the main road near the highway of Vadodara city near Tarsali bypass. The owner of the restaurant is Mehmood Mukhi. HighFly opened with an unique concept of giving its customers a experience of being in a real Airplane. People who have never been into flight will also get an amazing experience of being inside a plane while enjoying good food.

1. This is the first airplane themed restaurant of Gujarat which is located in Vadodara.
2. This is world’s ninth aircraft themed restaurant and India’s fourth.
3.The restaurant is build from a Airbus 320 which was bought from a company in Bangalore at the cost of 1.40 crores.
4. The parts of airbus 320 was purchased in scraps and brought to Vadodara, Gujarat in dismantled condition and later on was turned into an airplane themed restaurant with the help of technicians.
5. The plane was purchased back in 2019 and was ready to be designed as a restaurant but covid-19 pandemic hit and the project has to stop.
6. The airplane themed restaurant has an capacity of 102 people at a time with a sitting of 18 people on the left wing too.
7. The airplane restaurant will give its customers a real in flight feels with a aero bridge entry and welcome by airhostess. There is also safety announcements inside the plane which makes you feel that you are inside the plane in reality.
8. There are total of 40 staffs working inside the aircraft and all waiters and servers are dressed as airhostess and stewards to give a real flight experience to the customers.
9. There is also a waiting longue outside the aircraft for the people waiting for their reservation.
10. All covid guidelines are followed inside the airplane resturant for the sake of safety of people.
11. The food rates are kept affordable for the people of Vadodara, all the foodies and food vloggers now got a new amazing resturant to experience good food with an amazing airplane themed ambiance.
