Stellantis and Foxconn to Supply the First Fleet

Automaker Stellantis will manufacture the first 5,000 robotaxis equipped with Nvidia’s advanced hardware, with Foxconn supporting production and system integration. Pilot programs are set to begin in the United States, followed by a global rollout by 2028. Uber will oversee the entire fleet operation — including maintenance, charging, remote monitoring, and customer support — while continuing to collaborate with other self-driving partners like Waymo, WeRide, and Nuro.

Building the Robotaxi Data Factory

To accelerate innovation, Uber and Nvidia will jointly establish a “Robotaxi Data Factory”, designed to process more than three million hours of driving data collected from Uber’s global operations. Nvidia will supply the necessary processors, simulation tools, and analytics systems to train AI models for safer and more efficient driverless performance.
