Navi Mumbai International Airport will be inaugurated on October 8 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A Rs 19,650 crore project designed to handle 25 million passengers annually starting mid-December, will ease congestion at Mumbai’s existing airport. He will also dedicate the complete 33.5 km Mumbai Metro Line 3, India’s longest underground corridor, which opens to passengers on October 9, connecting key business districts and reducing travel times. Additionally, Modi will launch the Mumbai One app to integrate ticketing and real-time tracking for multiple transport modes in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region
