WICCI Rajasthan Architecture Chapter successfully hosted the third event of its 2026-27 tenure, “Visual Analogue: Explorations with Paper- 1,” a hands-on workshop facilitated by Damini Rathore of Studio DAMU. The workshop brought together architects, designers, and creative practitioners for an immersive exploration of analogue thinking, journaling, and mixed-media storytelling.

The event was supported by Mangal Sales Corporation, represented by Shiv Agarwal and Dhruv Agarwal, as Event Sponsor, while Pintora by Ar. Payal Lulla joined as the Gifting Partner.

As the first in a proposed hands-on workshop series, the session encouraged participants to slow down, observe, and express personal memories and experiences through paper-based exploration. Through journaling, collage-making, layering, and mixed-media exercises, participants translated thoughts and emotions into visual narratives.

Welcoming the participants, WICCI Rajasthan Architecture Chapter President Ar. Preethi Agarwal said, “Architecture begins with observation. Through workshops like Visual Analogue, we hope to encourage architects to reconnect with creativity, reflection, and new ways of seeing the world around them.”

A reflection and sharing session formed a key highlight of the workshop, with participants presenting their creations and exchanging insights on memory, observation, and storytelling.

Vice President Ar. Geetanjali Kasliwal remarked, “In a world driven by speed and screens, this workshop reminded us of the value of slowing down. Meaningful design often emerges from observation, reflection, and personal connection.”

The event was coordinated by Ar. Sana Soni and Ar. Ketaki Kulkarni and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ar. Geetanjali Kasliwal.

Among those present were Ar. Kavita Pandit, Ar. Aastha Tholia, Anika Mittal, Ar. Megha Bhatnagar, Ar. Ketaki Kulkarni, Ar. Sana Soni, along with other members of the WICCI Rajasthan Architecture fraternity.

Through “Visual Analogue,” WICCI Rajasthan Architecture Chapter continued its focus on experiential learning and interdisciplinary engagement, highlighting the importance of observation, reflection, imagination, and human connection in architectural practice.
