The Indian team, under Harmanpreet’s leadership, recently clinched the Women’s World Cup title, marking a proud moment for Indian cricket. Her statue will commemorate this achievement and symbolize the growing prominence of women in sports.

Museum founder Anoop Srivastava said that Harmanpreet Kaur’s inclusion honors not only her remarkable contribution to cricket but also celebrates women’s empowerment. “Our aim is to showcase not just celebrities but inspirational figures who motivate the youth. Harmanpreet is a true example of perseverance and self-confidence,” he said.

The Jaipur Wax Museum currently features around 45 wax figures, including those of cricket legends MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli. With the addition of Harmanpreet Kaur, the museum will proudly display two World Cup-winning captains on one platform — a tribute to India’s rich cricketing legacy.
