Bihar teenager Jyoti Kumari Paswan, who cycled for over 12,000-km to carry her ailing father home during the nationwide lockdown last year, is now the brand ambassador for Bihar government for an anti-drug abuse programme
The 15-year-old girl, last year, cycled with her father from Gurugram near Delhi to Darbhanga town in Bihar on facing starvation kind situation when all modes of transport remained suspended and there were no jobs around.
Bihar government has now chosen this “real-life hero” to intensify its campaign against use of narcotic drugs and intoxicants by the young generation.
She will visit schools and colleges and make youths aware about ill-effects of the drugs.
