Ayushi Magotra, student of Saksham Sanchar Foundation shared a experience of visiting City Palace under the joint agies of SSF and AWWA.
City Palace Jaipur is a stunning blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Which is located in the heart of Jaipur. It was architect by Vidyadar Bhattacharya and was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
The Palace is divided in two sections one where we can explore the beauty and other is the private section where the royal family lives.
Places to explore:-
- Mubarak Mahal: the place where the pushak and ornaments of the king are presented in beautiful way with the things used to made them and also from where the clothes and pushak did maharaja brought them from.
The kings were the players of polo so the balls of polo, custom of polo and the trophies won by the kings are also presented here. - Chandra Mahal: The main palace building, featuring stunning architecture and ornate decorations. The most attractive beauty is the 4 gates that represents four seasons.
- Sarvato Bhadra: A unique, single-story palace with a flat roof, offering breathtaking views of the city.
- Ridhi Sidhi Pol: An impressive entrance gate, adorned with intricate carvings and ornate decorations.
- Diwan-i-Khas: A private audience hall, featuring stunning marble work and ornate decorations.
