Desert roses! The combination may sound a little weird but a teenaged boy has made this deadly combination possible with his hard work.
We all must have seen hanging fruits from a tree, but hanging rose flowers on a tree grown in desert soil is something surprising.
A teenaged boy Shubham Kumawat from Nimbahera grew this rose ‘tree’ around four to five years back.
“We need to cut this tree for 2 to three times which helps it to attain height. Roses here can be seen in all seasons, however, in winters, they come with pleasant aroma. We offer these roses daily for prayers.”
This rose plant has a height of seven to eight feet which can never be seen in surrounding area, he says.
This desert rose plant is strong and adaptable to harsh climatic conditions and hence is a symbol of strength, persistence and resilience. it is also a symbol of hope during the dry times, he says.
