India is country of devotion and different culture. It is also a hub of various types of temples, some temples are unique in their own way and some are the oldest. As we all know that last month Ayodhya Ram Mandir was inaugurated and now in Gyan Vapi, puja rituals has been started .Similarly, another good news is on the way, yes we are talking about the world’s first “OM” Shaped Temple, which is has been inaugurated on February 10, 2024.
This Om Shaped temple is known as Om Shiv Mandir and this temple is situated in Jaddan village, Pali district, Rajasthan. It is built in 270 acres and the foundation of this temple was laid in the year 1995 and now it is in a final stages of construction.The temple has 1008 idols of Lord Shiva which includes 12 Jyotirlingas. The temple 135 feet long supported by 1200 pillars ad has 108 rooms and t and the tomb of Guru Madhavanand Ji is built in the centre of the premises.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva though there are number of Shiva temples situated in India. This temple holds a great religious and spiritual significance among Hindus. Its a symbol of dedication and devotions towards Lord Shiva. The temple is followed the Nagara style of architecture. The design of the temple showcase the rich Hindu culture and architectural heritage.
