Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase I of the Noida International Airport (NIA) at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2026, marking a major milestone in India’s aviation infrastructure.
Located along the Yamuna Expressway in Gautam Buddha Nagar, the airport is set to become the second international airport serving Delhi-NCR, after Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
