Jaipur: Tourists Say ‘life is beautiful’; they land in Pink City to ‘feel’ the richness of the royal era!

A total of 115 visually challenged tourists had come to Jaipur to feel the richness of this royal city. They had travelled all the way from Pune to the Pink City after listening to lot many stories about the beautiful monuments this city holds.

While some of them were seen holding hands of each other to get down from the stairs, there were others who were seen standing near the buffet, smelling the aroma of food, spreading around the restaurant.

Watching them on lunch table was a real delight; they are happy to be there; even kids who are part of this group are excited; excited with the idea of exploring their dream city; no one is seen cribbing; it seems none of them has any complaint against any of the challenges life has posed; anxious to visit the palaces of kings and queens, they all are dressed smartly. I think they haven’t learn to crib; there is excitement among all.

While Jaipur attracts lakhs of tourists since years, however, a big number of visually challenged tourists, visiting this city is a rare phenomenon.

According to one of these tourists, “They feel the ambience in and around the site and this is how they get into the royal past of the monuments. We also come to know about the stories which these monuments hold with the help of tour guides.”

The Rajasthan Tourism was also informed about the visit of this group. Without delay, they were quick to waive off the entry tickets for them in all historical moments ensuring an easy access to all at historical sites.

All of these tourists are currently residing at Hotel Laxmi Niwas-A Heritage Property, which is situated at the heart of the Pink city.

Gajendra Luniya, the owner of the property, is also appalled looking at the excitement among these tourists. “They are all self-dependent, have been exploring hotel without seeking any help and are excited to tour the city.”

“Our excitement level to serve them the best has doubled looking at their ethics, values and working model,” he adds.

They also taught us a matter; cherish what you have without cribbing for what you don’t have.

Life is beautiful; nurture it, live it beautifully!
