US Open tennis men championship winner Daniil Medvedev from Russia, a popular Russian professional Tennis player who won the biggest battle this year in men’s singles final of the US Open tennis championships, shared the trophy with his wife saying, ‘What a way to celebrate an anniversary.’ He has always been appreciative of his wife and gives her credit for making him a better player.
Daniil Sergeyevich Medvedev was born on February 11, 1996 in Moscow, Russia and is currently ranked by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) as world No. 2, which is his career-high singles ranking first achieved on March 15 2021. Till now, he has won thirteen ATP Tour singles titles.

Medvedev started playing tennis when he was 9
Medvedev started learning tennis at the age of 9 when his parents convinced him for doing so, but he was not fully focused on this sport only. He completed his graduation and was enrolled at Moscow state institute of international relations but later on he dropped his studies to focus more on Tennis and took admission at State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth, and Tourism.
After 2019, he won two major tournaments and entered the top 10. In 2019, he won the Player of the year and Team of the year awards and was merited as Master of sports of Russia. Since then, he is making his country proud and working hard for the improvement of his game.
Finally on September 12, 2021, Medvedev gave a historic win against Novak Djokovic who was on his way to win all four Grand Slam tournaments in the same year. Medvedev clearly smashed the bid of Djokovic by beating him in straight sets 6-4,6-4,6-4. Medvedev fired 16 aces and 22 unreturned serves.
Medvedev became the first Russian to win a major title since Maria Sharapova in 2014, and the first Russian man since Marat Safin in 2005.
