When two friends meet beyond political borders

0

This is a story of two friends, who despite being connected on political grounds, remained in two different states but the bonds they had never went lose.

After years, these two friends met; at this time, one of them is serving as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh while the other is serving as Haryana in charge for assembly polls. The emotions they reflected on stage spoke volumes of their friendship.

Meanwhile Poonia said, “I reached Jhalawar on the 52nd birth anniversary of Param Pujya Pragya Sagar Ji Maharaj and took his blessings. On this occasion, I had a spiritual meeting with old friend and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri @DrMohanYadav51 ji. Mohan ji is still the same friend as when I first met him in Ujjain. He helped me in getting inside the Mahakal temple and also served me food at his home with affectionate hospitality. Today’s meeting refreshed the memories of those days.

Meanwhile, MP CM Yadav said, “Satish Poonia ji is my close friend. There are some friends in life who hold a special place in our hearts throughout their lives. Today was like the icing on the cake.”

Shri Krishna Gaman Path to boost religious tourism in Rajasthan giving big push to industry

0

In a significant move to honour the legacy of Lord Krishna, the governments of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have collaboratively launched the Shri Krishna Gaman Path Project. This ambitious project aims to transform several sacred sites associated with Lord Krishna’s life into prominent pilgrimage destinations, fostering spiritual tourism across the states. The project was officially announced by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma during the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami in Ujjain.

A Journey through Sacred Sites

The Shri Krishna Gaman Path is set to connect seven temples spanning across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. These temples are believed to be significant locations that Lord Krishna traversed on his journey to the Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain, where he received his education. This pathway will not only highlight the spiritual importance of these sites but will also aim to preserve and promote the cultural heritage associated with them.

During the Janmashtami celebrations, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the historical and cultural importance of these sacred sites. He expressed that the Shri Krishna Gaman Path will serve as a divine corridor, connecting devotees with the holy footsteps of Lord Krishna. The project underscores the joint efforts of both state governments to develop and enhance these spiritual landmarks.

Key Temples in the Shri Krishna Gaman Path

The Shri Krishna Gaman Path will encompass the following temples:

  • Mathura, Uttar Pradesh: The birthplace of Lord Krishna, Mathura holds immense significance in the Hindu religion and will be a vital part of the pilgrimage route.
  • Shri Gokul Chandrama Ji, Kaman District, Deeg: Located in Rajasthan, this temple is revered for its association with Lord Krishna’s early years.
  • Shri Madan Mohan Ji, Kaman District, Deeg: Another important temple in Rajasthan, dedicated to Lord Krishna.
  • Shri Bihari Ji, Bharatpur: This temple is a key spiritual site that will be part of the Gaman Path.
  • Shri Madan Mohan Ji, Karauli: A revered temple in Rajasthan, known for its spiritual significance.
  • Shri Charbhuja Ji, Bundi: This temple is famous for its unique architecture and devotion to Lord Krishna.
  • Shri Mathuradhish Ji, Kota: Another temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, located in Kota, Rajasthan.
  • Shri Dwarkadhish Ji, Jhalawar: This temple, dedicated to the ruler of Dwarka, Lord Krishna, holds a special place in the hearts of devotees.

Ujjain: The Culmination of Krishna’s Education

Ujjain, known as the city of Mahakal, holds a special place in Lord Krishna’s life as it is home to the Sandipani Ashram, where he, along with his brother Balram and friend Sudama, received his education under the guidance of Guru Sandipani. During his visit, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the ashram and offered prayers, emphasizing the historical and spiritual significance of this site. The visit culminated with prayers at the Mahakal Temple, further cementing Ujjain’s importance in the Gaman Path.

What Tour planners are saying on this?

Sanjay Kaushik, the director of Rajputana Holiday Makers Pvt Ltd., offered his perspective on the impact of the Shri Krishna Gaman Path project. He noted that in the past, religious tourism was somewhat limited, with destinations like the Vaishnodevi temple being the primary focus for pilgrims. However, in recent years, there has been a noticeable shift, with more people visiting these temples not just for religious purposes, but also from a tourist’s point of view.

Kaushik emphasized that the creation of the Krishna Gaman Path has the potential to significantly broaden tourist interest. He believes that this initiative will not only enhance awareness among tourists but also foster cultural exchange between states. For instance, people from Madhya Pradesh will gain more insight into the rich heritage of Rajasthan and vice versa.

Drawing a comparison with the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Kaushik pointed out how the number of tourists surged after its inauguration, underscoring the transformative power of such religious projects. He is optimistic that the Krishna Gaman Path could have a similar impact, driving tourism and empowering local communities.

A Collaborative Effort for Spiritual Tourism

The Shri Krishna Gaman Path Project is not just about creating a pilgrimage route but also about promoting religious, cultural, and social tourism in the region. The governments of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are working closely to develop these sites, ensuring that they become prime destinations for devotees and tourists alike. This initiative is expected to not only boost spiritual tourism but also contribute to the preservation of India’s rich cultural heritage.

As the project progresses, the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh will see a transformation in their spiritual landscapes, with the Shri Krishna Gaman Path serving as a divine journey for devotees, connecting them with the sacred footsteps of Lord Krishna.

ASMITA 2024: Meet the woman who lost her voice and hope but then miracle happened…

Shivani Agarwal, founder of the ‘Journey with Gratitude’ shared her inspirational story at Asmita 2024 held today at Sapta Shakti Auditorium, Jaipur. She is a Motivational speaker, Mind Miracle Mentor, Certified Belief Clearing Practitioner, Metaphysical Coach and Entrepreneur. Let us share her full story to understand what miracle made her so greatful about life that she has become the practitioner and mentor today.

From the stage of Asmita 2024, Shivani shared her journey starting from the time when she was first diagnosed with tuberculosis. She and her whole family got shattered in a moment when they first came to know about it but at that time doctors were not able to diagnose that whether this tuberculosis was cancerous or not. To diagnose it, doctors advised her for a surgery which was done and she was not diagnosed with cancer. Her entire family was happy about it until they found that Shivani was not able to speak.

Initially, doctors said that it may have been caused because of surgery and her voice will be back in some days. But days and weeks passed on however Shivani was unable to speak a full word.

Sometime later, it was found that her left vocal cord nerve got cut during surgery as it was close to the part which doctors were treating in the surgery, there were no hopes left and Shivani and her family tried every thing they could do to get her voice back. But it seemed impossible.

Then once her friend came from Chennai to her place in Kolkata but when she was returning back via flight, she got common cold and her ear started paining. Her pain was not going even after many days also. So, she went to Padma Shri ENT Specialist Dr. Mohan Kameshwaran. She shared Shivani’s issue with the doctor and the doctor asked her to bring Shivani to Chennai.

ASMITA 2024: Meet the woman who lost her voice and hope but then miracle happened...

Shivani and her husband packed up their bag and came to the doctor. Shivani said that her face literally had no hopes when she entered into his cabin but then he told me one thing that changed my life. He said “Nobody knows enough to be a pessimist”. He said that ‘why are you upset, why are you thinking negative, why to think negative when we don’t know what will happen in a second or a minute from now’.

Then doctor diagnosed her and said that nerve is slit but she can get her voice back. He explained that we have two vocal cords and you have slit in the left one. So, right vocal cord still has a possibility.

She said that he treated her without any medication or surgery by massage the neck and it was too severe and she really used to choke but yes it cured her and now she is able to speak. Today, her one cord is stationary and the right one is doing the extra effort through which she is able to speak and hence has got her voice back.

She said that in all this journey, what she learned is be thankful for what she has. “We all might have never thanked God for our voice or eyes but that daymade me greatful because I knew it by then how it feels when that thing is taken away from us.”

So, after this episode, she decided to spread the positivty God has given her via miracle and she spreads the word from what life has taught her. Then she started her “Journey of Gratitude” and till now she has healed a lot of people via her positivity and gratitude.

The Art of Living And Environmental Restoration…

0

As pollution rises and natural resources diminish, The Art of Living community, guided by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s vision, has dedicated itself to impactful environmental projects. By bringing together diverse partners, they drive substantial change through collaborative plantation efforts.

“We need to protect the environment – this is our first and foremost duty as citizens of this world. If we take care of the environment, it will take care of us and bring us health, prosperity and happiness,’’Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Protecting Our Fragile Ecosystem

The delicate interplay between humans and nature depends heavily on water and forests. Yet, we’re witnessing a 32% drop in global forest cover, coupled with worsening urban pollution that’s taking a toll on our water sources. In response, The Art of Living has been leading a global tree-planting effort for the past twenty years. The focus has been on restoring dried-up water bodies, reducing CO2 levels, improving soil health to help regenerate forests, and fighting desertification.

Mission Green Earth: Cultivating a Greener Future

To tackle the environmental crisis head-on, The Art of Living rolled out ‘Mission Green Earth,’ a large-scale tree-planting initiative. Partnering with the United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), this project has successfully seen 9,12,00,000+ trees planted worldwide.

Some of the standout efforts include planting over 70,000 trees in Ladakh, contributing more than 7,00,000 trees for river restoration projects, and placing over 100,000 trees around water recharge areas. These afforestation initiatives target regions where tree numbers are dwindling, transforming fading forests into thriving green spaces. The project also extends to barren and semi-arid lands, focusing on planting medicinal, fruit-bearing trees, and other hardy species suited to local conditions.

A 90% survival rate for these trees is a result of thoughtful practices: using drip irrigation, digging deep trenches to protect forest areas, and daily monitoring of vulnerable sites to prevent any setbacks.

Mission Green Earth stands as a powerful example of how collective effort can make a real impact on global warming, showing that every tree planted brings us closer to a healthier planet.

Now Comes MACH 1 Watch to Honour High-Altitude Aviators

0

In the spirit of producing world-class watches that tell stories from modern India, Bangalore Watch Company™ celebrates high-altitude aviators with a new watch in the MACH 1 collection. The new watch is called – MACH 1 Avalanche.

Two sides of Avalanche

We introduced the MACH 1 collection in 2019. Since then, this collection has seen a strong identity as a compelling aviation-styled watch with Indian aviation backstories. We did several watches in the past that celebrate the Indian Air Force, and most recently the Indian Navy. The Avalanche is an addition to this narrative with a focus specifically on the heroes of high-altitude flying,” said Nirupesh Joshi, Co-founder and Creative Director of the brand.

The Himalayan range has more than 1300 peaks that are above 6000 meters. Many of those are within the Airspace of India. The Indian Air Force has been tasked with not only protecting this airspace, but also ensuring the safety and sustenance of the border forces that protect our high-altitude borders.

High-altitude flights are extremely dangerous. The thin air makes it challenging for helicopters to create and sustain lift. Since the late 1970s, Indian aviators have been routinely flying rescue and resupply missions to the high peaks of the Himalayas – braving the biting cold, oxygen-thin air, and icy, rugged terrain of some of the world’s highest battlefields. This is the story that we wanted to celebrate with our newest watch in the MACH 1 line-up,” Mercy Amalraj, Co-founder and Head of Ownership Experience said.

Given the unique backstory, the designers at BWC have come up with a new colour scheme for the watch. A white colour and pattern that mimics freshly fallen powdery snow, that is called Frostpeak.  The dial also carries a motif de grain, that gives the watch a shine and luster in different lighting conditions. There is also a minute hand bright red with Super-Luminova®, that resembles airspeed indicators and the bright colours of mountain rescue helicopters. The back of the watch portrays a  helicopter flying above towering peaks, symbolic of the story of the watch.

MACH 1 Avalanche is priced at USD 1,200. The watches can be ordered through the brand’s website www.bangalorewatchco.in starting today.
