In the inaugural session, the topic of “Revolution of Self-Based India” took center stage, with prominent figures like Arvind Mahala, senior journalist Archana Sharma, renowned writers Anshu Harsh, and Mahavir offering their perspectives. Arvind Mahala advocated for the promotion of one’s language, religion, and country as essential elements of self-based identity. Archana Sharma discussed the significance of independent journalism and the global demand for Indian culture and art. Anshu Harsh stressed the importance of preserving language, cuisine, and national pride. Mahavir delved into the changes in India’s education policy, highlighting the need to adapt and pass down traditional knowledge.

Connecting Generations through Literature

The second session featured a detailed discussion on Anshu Harsh’s book, “Mahabharata ke Hanuman” Anshu Harsh shared his insights on how to bridge the generational gap by connecting today’s youth with their ancestral roots. The session also explored the evolution of literature over time, with Anshu Harsh advocating for the integration of religious literature into historical contexts rather than fictional narratives.

The Reign of Content in the Digital Age

The third session saw senior journalist Archana Sharma conducting a workshop on content writing. She emphasized the pivotal role of quality content in today’s digital landscape. Archana highlighted that content is king, and effective communication relies on well-crafted content. She discussed the 5WH principle (what, when, why, who, and where, how) as essential for content creation. In a digital age where many youths pursue blogging and social media, she stressed the significance of strong content as a key to success.

Mental Health Matters

The fourth session revolved around the critical issue of youth mental health. Sunidhi Mishra(Nutritionist), Archana Sharma (Senior Journalist), Pallavi Sharma( Counselling Psychologist) and Pushpendra Panikar (Senior Teacher) shared their concerns about rising stress levels among students and increasing suicide cases. Sunidhi Mishra addressed the issue of mental stress and its link to dietary habits, emphasizing the need for healthier eating. To combat the rising cases of suicide, the speakers advocated for understanding and supporting children in their chosen career paths rather than imposing expectations.

Cultivating Young Talent

On the first day of the Shekhawati Sahitya Sangam, a poster competition was organized for schools in Sikar and surrounding areas. The theme, ‘Strong India,’ inspired 85 students from 13 different schools to express their feelings through art. Participants from junior and senior classes showcased their interpretations of a robust and self-reliant India.

Book Fair and Artistry

The Shekhawati Sahitya Sangam also featured a bustling book fair, where books were displayed, reviewed, and sold. The event provided a platform for literary enthusiasts and locals to engage in discussions about various subjects. Additionally, the presentation by singer artist Ankit Awasthi added a musical dimension to the gathering.

A Literary Extravaganza

The second day of the Shekhawati Sahitya Sangam will feature a Kavi Sammelan, where poets like Bhumika Jain, Ram Badhawar, Harish Hindustani, and Latturi Lath will recite their poems. This promises to be a celebration of India’s rich literary tradition.
