The main attraction of this day is the Republic Day Parade on Rajpath near India Gate where the country’s military might, culture and diversity would be displayed.
Every state of India is beautifully represented in this grand parade via colourful theme-based floats highlighting different states’ culture and significance.
Republic Day 2022 chief guest
This will be for the second year in a row when there won’t be a foreign dignitary as chief guest at India’s Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
While there shall be no foreign leader as the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations, but for the first time ever, the list of people who have been invited to watch the majestic Republic Day 2022 parade at the Rajpath will include autorickshaw drivers, construction workers, sanitation workers and frontline workers.
Seats shall be reserved for people from different walks of life for the main Republic Day celebrations.

The Republic Day Parade 2022 live telecast will start at 10:30 am with Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting the Amar Jawan Jyoti. Later, President Ram Nath Kovind will be unfurling the national flag.
