As the New Year began, Jaipur’s Gupt Vrindavan Dham hosted the most anticipated event of the year. Shri Shri Krishna Balram embarked on a Rath Yatra through the walled city of Jaipur, gracing the Pink City with their divine blessings. The atmosphere resonated with the soulful chants of Harinam Sankirtan, filling the air with spirituality and joy. Devotees thronged the streets, offering flowers, fruits, lamps, coconuts, and heartfelt prayers to Shri Shri Krishna Balram.

On Thursday, January 2, at 3 PM, the grand Shobha Yatra marked the occasion, drawing lakhs of devotees from across the city. Organised by Gupt Vrindavan Dham, the event allowed people to begin their New Year by seeking the blessings of Lord Krishna Balram. The procession was inaugurated by MLA Bal Mukund and Acting Mayor of Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation, Kusum Yadav.

Starting from the Shri Anand Krishna Bihari Ji temple, the Yatra passed through iconic city landmarks including Tripolia Gate, Chaura Rasta, Bapu Bazaar, Johri Bazaar, and Badi Chaupad, before culminating at its point of origin via Tripolia Bazaar and Chhoti Chaupad.

Shri Amitasana Das, President of Gupt Vrindavan Dham, shared the spiritual significance of the Shobha Yatra, stating, “It is mentioned in our scriptures that ‘Rathe Cha Vamanam Drishtva Punarjanma Na Vidhyate’—one who beholds Lord Krishna on his chariot is liberated from the cycle of rebirth.” He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Jaipur for their overwhelming participation and support in making the event a grand success.
