Ker is a desert tree called Ker which is a thick green bush found in the arid region of Rajasthan, India.
Ker bush is a small and moderate in size and can be termed as an evergreen thorny tree. With its brilliant light bluish-green slender branches armed with conical thorns, it can be called as a tree or a shrub. This is because some of these trees are about 15 feet tall, Many of these trees are spread over huge area of sand in 5 to 6 feet high heaps of green foliage.
It can also be called as a Ker or Kair shrub for it has no leaves on it. Having a huge bunch of thin branches with triangular thorns, it produces a green berry like fruit called Ker or Kair that is used for cooking curries.
